How much does it cost to develop an app like Uber?

haha, perfect! I'm sending this video to potential customers quiet often. Part of them really not ready to build an app and just asking for estimate to check potential costs.

G A Do not over complicate video on beginning - start with phone camera just add non-expensive lavalier microphone to make sound better. Stay close to windows to have enough light and you will be good. I started with iPhone and default video recording app. Then switched to FilMicPro to have more control over result + used iPad as recording monitor. Currently I have Canon 200D + few lenses for different recording cases on camera microphone + cheapest soft-box lights from Amazon. P.S. actually I should create a gear list and link it below videos. Will do that someday later.

If the app I'm looking for is a food delivery application, will the price drop since most developers already have a clone to start with ?(if they ever did one). I had overwhelming of offers from developers mainly from India at a cheap price; unfortunately I'm running on a low capital so I don't have a choice. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid choosing the wrong developer. Anyhow your video was very helpful !!

Hey, nice that you found this video useful. Sure you can get cheaper offer if developer just add some touches to the app what he already developed. I would suggest to take a close look on similar projects what developer already done.
