Great training video. It's great you actually teach *how* to use your tool, instead of just shipping it without any help. Makes it easier for me to improve my balance and strength. Thank you!

Love your board and plan to implement it on our physical therapy rehab protocol at our clinic. Minor mispronunciation at 2.59 you mention grounding down the perineals. I think it should be the peroneals. Minor difference phonetically but altogether different anatomically!

Just got my Mobo board in the mail today. I've been using a traditional wobble board for years now, but am excited to dive in with these exercises. I've already played around with it a little and it's a very different feel!

Could these series of exercises be done on a daily basis? Love this concept of strengthening the feet, I have weak ankles and toes and I also have ligament laxity in both feet, so I really need strengthening. I love how Jay explains everything.

Hi Roberta! no harm in doing them daily at all! we've got this on our website, in the exercises section, but the goal of MOBO is to improve position sense and "steering" in your body. When doing this, your brain can get tired! So we always advise people to do a little bit more often during each session, rather than do a 40 min one day a week. best to you!

I wish there were some close ups on the feet and the board.

These were recorded in a follow along format. All of these exercises ware also shown on our website - no audio on that format, but we’ve got close ups of the feet and board fir you there. Check out the exercises page and you’ll find over 35 exercises. Best!

What would be some good progressions of these exercises to get closer to the dynamics of running, e.g. can you jump on to the board? I have persistent lateral knee/ITB problems (persistent meaning life-long) that I believe is partly caused by bad foot mechanics (landing inverted, ankle instability). I have become good at other exercises like toe yoga, but more dynamic exercises like single leg hops/bounds cause my knee to flare up. I have ordered a Mobo board, so looking forward to getting into those exercises!

Have you done any strength training? Never hurts to develop more strength in the hips etc with things like a hex bar deadlift. Low volume, high weight and such.

@@gjwhite Yes, that's always been the main focus of physiotherapy, but it hasn't helped unfortunately. 7 months on from original comment, and a number of other treatments, doctors now suspect that my knee problems are a combination of anatomical factors that cannot be fixed through physiotherapy (e.g. things like femoral torsion, hip alignment).

you can't fix a sagittal plane problem with more sagittal plane work. Start working on your rotational and frontal plane control ...which .....by the way...is exactly what MOBO will do for you!

3.39 - it looks like she's gripping with the board with her smaller toes, so it doesnt really make a difference, if you dig your small toes in or grip with your small toes like she does here, it doesnt seem to avoid the unwanted gripping with the smaller toes.

Ever heard the phrase "give me a lever long enough and I'll move the world?" by taking away the contact point for the little toes, there's essentially nothing there to aid in pivoting the board. Thus dropping the toes down into the toe box doesn't provide any significant leverage to stabilize the board....but the solid platform under the first ray does!.....which is why we designed it this way. To stabilize the board, you need to cue into your first ray (big toe) and MOBO will do that. Have fun with yours and build up your feet!
