Great video. I have the Pavo Pico version and to my surprise it’s pretty durable and it comes with lots more extras, including a mount for the original O3 antenna which I used.

Mobula is surprisingly robust.

Interesting thoughts on the motor idle. I had to reduce mine too. I will say, my Mobigital still flies better than my Mobula8. longer flight too.

Do you think its worth taking these guts and putting it on the flywoo 85lens? I dig the flywoo setup but i personally dont like how fragile the parts are.

Hey Gal, why do you think the Mobula8 03 weighs 10 grams more? Aren't they using pretty much the same gear, just a different maker? Hmmm... So, some of my observations are these weights, even the 10g less Pavo Pico, are quite heavy for an 85mm whoop. I also think the entire 03 camera / VTX being mounted on top makes it quite top heavy. Sure, it's really co0ol both manufacturers were able to make an 85mm 03 whoop, but is it practical with those weights? I have a 95mm BetaFPV 95 V3 with the 1404 motors and after using Chris Rosser's amazing tune, it flies superb! It's light too!!! It has a huge advantage of using not only the 1404 motors but also 2.5" props, and having the ability to fly with a 4S lipo. 3S works fine too, and since I'm all about lightweight, and not all hung up on flight time, I find the 3S works just as good as a 4S when using an ultralight 450mah lipo of each amount of cells. It's great to see innovation in our FPV hobby again!!! Just not sure it's very practical with those weights. Plus, all that weight so high up makes the center of gravity weird, without a doubt. At least some manufacturers are innovating! Seems rare these days... I just wish DJI would make a single board ultralight VTX / camera (Vista like) air unit to use on whoops and micros. It's the only think lacking in the DJI digital FPV system! I do not see why they haven't realized that. Thanks Gal for the great review! :)
