There are so many people struggling in life. So many lost souls. People are hurting and feeling lost. I just hope this song gives you hope and redemption
There isn´t playback. In parts when Elton John is not singing and you hear a powerful and bass voice, that´s the voice of Diane Charlemagne. She has a very rich and expressive voice in various tones, including heavy bass.
that song live is IDENTICAL to the album version, with all its nuances and compression, sorry but it is a playback, i mix and this one is very on the nose. just compare it.
at 3:13 you can hear Diane's voice on top of the original backing vocal track with its original reverb from the album track, than her voice is brought up and you can hear how her voice really is live. but if you go back to the begining you wont hear her at all only the playback.
Clicking on this, discovering this for the first time, I worried having Sir Elton on this would be a car crash - I guess some commenters here feel that way. I thought he complimented the song great though - much more moving than I expected.
Diana is great, she has a magical voice, Moby is without her ... Unfortunately, even Elton John will not replace her, but Elton John is a legend, I do not argue
Every time I hear this song, my memory always goes to the moment when Paul and Lexie kissed under the fireworks on Molly’s birthday party, then they have to be parted on the day after as Lexie decided to chase Archie, her husband in New Zealand, Paul’s brother.
22 yrs on and this is still an amazing and beautiful song sung by two amazing artists it’s december and freezing but this song brings warmth and feeling whenever it is played,
I have been in love with this song and especially this rendition for the longest time and I have never realised that the song is indeed just two phrases.
When two nato allied soldiers are forced to shoot against each other, what or whom do you want to serve "respect" 1st? your mother, your father, your son or daughter, your land? ok, in nato alliances, what exactly is your land of duty?!
Fuck the "respect"! Love the honesty of your nearby partners and friends! Fuck praying "respect" politicians and do love any enemy with a heart! GREENHORN!"
Esta canción, siendo interpretada por Elton John, parece hecha a su medida, qué gran sonido creado por Moby, qué genio y qué talento, y qué olvidado ha quedado en los últimos tiempos. Melancólica música.
@@michaelspindel9851 little:) He also created ambient music, which he certainly did not earn much. The rest of the party clung to their styles like the drunkard of his flask. See how Elton drowns in this music, it's not his style, music is not only a nice voice and mouth.
Whenever I feel blue this MOBY track from Play helps soothe my heart and to hear Elton and the other vocalists sing this and the happiness that followed will forever stop me feeling so blue the same way. Cos a corner of my sad heart has been replaced forever with that happiness they were all sharing which I in turn feel a part of now. Thanks MOBY thanks Elton and thanks too to the happy crowd there that night.
