Another cut of the SWLTS completed! Enjoy. INB4 the r-tard comments of the lady on the last section of scenes, the comedian is known for having ataxic cerebral palsy and makes it part of her gimmick.
Your channel introduced me to MTW through these compilations, and I thank you for it so much. Reading this FAQ made me laugh and reminded me how I got my bestie addicted to British TV too! You do great work and I've appreciated it for years, thank you so much, OP! You're a star!
@mindlessgonzoALT: Your heart is in the right place to want to preempt any idiots from making nasty remarks about the comedian with CP, but I believe you still could've gotten your point across without the r-word (even in truncated form). 🙂
@@BurntFaceMan Yes, it's still on. The season is split up into two airings: one around June and the other around September-October. Series 18 was the most recent. Usually, there's at least two or three people here on RU-vid that kindly upload the show after airing if you're still interested in watching it. Or, if you live in the States and want to watch it legitimately, it airs on the streaming service BritBox.
his specialty is those long term one liners that weave together. he's done half hour shows where the one liners end up telling a story by the end. he's insanely clever
Milton is fucking brilliant. And so is Hugh as well. 'Our relationship is on the rocks' He doesn't even need to say anything else and yet i'm pissing myself.
All have done evil “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) The penalty for sin is hell (Revelation 21:8). Because of Gods love for us Jesus Christ came down from heaven to take the punishment for our sin on the cross in which he was spat on, beaten, mocked and laughed at.. Christ died for the sins of the world and The third day God raised him from the dead (Praise God). This was done so that those who believe on Christ will not perish (hell) but have life everlasting (heaven); be justified by Gods grace through redemption in Christ (John 3:16) (Romans 3:24).. The blood Jesus shed on the cross washes away our sin if we Believe in The Son of God and his finished work (ordained by God) on the cross. When this happens the believer receives the righteousness of Christ in place of their own unrighteousness (all sins are forgiven) and this makes them saved (going heaven) and they are born again as a Christian. (Romans 3:25-26)
@@BlessGodMinistry if you are defending the nazis and the KKK with this script, you are a horrible human who goes directly against christ and the lord. his joke was "i dont want to say white power." so either you are defending white power, or you are too ignorant to get that. or you are trying to shove religion down our throats, which is also against christ. he HELPED, he didn't FORCE.
Hugh Dennis is just a national treasure. Love his material, so dry, quality jokes all the time. Brilliant. So many of these were laugh out loud moments.

I don’t know why, it’s not very clever, but “you need a roof” is the funniest line in this shows entire run to me. Including the Frankie Boyle era. I dunno what’s wrong with me either.
@@itsjustme8947 yet another way that americans are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far behind the entire rest of the world. as a veteran, i agree. the US is dumb AF when it comes to "women are humans just like men." too many americans dont get that.
yeah the punnage was so sharp, perfection. the only people who dont get it are those who shouldnt be allowed to vote. sad part is im american, and i still got it...
i kind of cheered for that particular secret service agent. as a military member who is aligned with SO MANY military members, that's the unspoken feeling. he is not wanted. not in 2020, and not in 2024. keep in mind, BY THE US MILITARY......... no president has ever had that... ever....
I noticed this once and now I can’t unsee it, so I’ve decided to turn it into a drinking game: *Take a drink every time you see Hugh do up/undo his jacket while at the mic*

I love these compilations as they're my favourite part of the show. I also have Cerebral Palsy (though a milder version of what she has) and I love that Mock the Week invited her on and hope she makes many more appearances, I wasn't even aware of her until I watched this video so now I have to go back and find the episode(s) she was on. Keep up the good work! It eases the homesickness a bit! :)
Rosie is really funny. she used to work on the last leg she has done a few appearances on that show too and she has been on Comedy Centrals comady roasts with Alex Brooker, that was really Savage I laughed my butt off.
She's also been on pretty much all the panel shows. Seen her on mock , 8 out of 10 cats.(and countdown). Amongst many other , well her delivery is often staggered her jokes and pervy brain are top notch.
@@nathanielcowan3971 which was originally done for BBC before the US made it. Also most of the cast from the original British Whose line also appeared in the US version.

Have to say - I had thought this show declined a bit over the years - but this is all gold. Also bonus, they added more female comedians - and they are very good.
@@mariannerognerud anga tries something similar in season 19 - not the exact same joke. She can't get through so Rhys tries it after her and misspeaks aswell.
The comments about the show moving to the left over the years are so weird. It's like people forget that Frankie Boyle is more left-wing than anybody, not to mention Rory Bremner, Chris Addison, and Hugh and Dara.
I think the difference is an actual joke vs 'clapter' that isn't designed to make you laugh but clap in agreement or a comedian who is more focused on making a political point than being funny
As a guy who loves to watch improvised comedy, and even tho some of these episodes are years old, I am having a great deal of laughs at some of these guys "instant" humor! I am NOT easily impressed, as so many stand-up comedians fall far short. There are so many on here that are HIGHLY impressive to me. Some I have seen on other shows, and some are already "famous", but there are still alot of them that I have never seen before that are quite good! It's a great show!
@@mermaidmoon2254 In short Showaddywaddy were a band who once appeared on Jimmy Saville's show Jim'l fix it where Saville pronounced the band's name in quite an unusual way which Hugh Dennis used to imitate. If you search "Hugh Dennis Showaddywaddy" you will find a compilation of these jokes and an explanation.
Has anyone noticed the out of place cut at 3:16. The subject that they were talking about was Unlikely lines from a Sci-fi film or TV show It then cuts to Ed walking away and the subject has changed to Things you wouldn't hear during an election campaign
Dara claimed it was because they were "running out of news", while others say the BBC was running out of money, both of which are hogwash. Why axe a show whose ratings never fell for the 17 years it ran? I suspect its irreverent style of comedy was too much for the hard right-leaning BBC execs. Honestly, that is the only reason I can think of.
