Grunge #30150 is Composition White. I really like the French General charmpack, I like all the French General fabrics really. It looks really nice in the Moda wallhanging/table-topper.

I wish you would have talked during the process. Did you press open the seams? How you made the HST. How you decided which squares went where. YOur quilt is beautiful. I printed the pattern so I should be able to start my quilt soon.

I generally press seams open unless I’m following a pattern that indicates otherwise. I have a separate video on making HSTs. My placement process changes with the wind. Thanks for watching! ❤️

Love this quilt. Could you please tell me where you got your sewing machine table? I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find something that my machine fits down into that has the same clear sewing area and have not been able to find one. I have a Juki 2010Q and it's really been hard to find something. LOVE your Videos!

The table I have is the Laverne (from Arrow) which can be purchased using my Amazon link in the description of this video. For that table and your machine, you can then order the Sew Steady inserts to make it a flat surface. Those can be ordered through Arrow or Sew Steady. They will ask for your table name and the model of your sewing machine to make the inserts. They’re about $100. Sometimes it’s just one piece and sometimes 2. I have a Baby Lock Jazz II which barely fits in the table, so they made it in 2 pieces. Hope you get one! It makes a world of difference 😉

I bought my table and ordered my acrylic insert through my local quilt shop. I prefer ordering some things through an actual person. My table and my acrylic fit both my Brother PQ1500SL and my Janome MC 6650. And yes these tables with the acrylic insert makes a world of difference. You will be happy you invested in both. 😊

I think that tape is such a great idea but I wish someone would do a video on how to apply it in a straight line. My machine only has markings on the bobbin cover but not any out on the arm, leaving me only one point of reference. HELP!

I use another ruler to measure from the edge. It’s tricky and sometimes takes me a couple of tries.

I didn’t, but you can construct it in rows. I like to construct in four patches if I can. This pattern allows that. It’s just all 4 1/2” squares and HSTs trimmed to 4 1/2”. Super easy!

On the charm pack challenge, how many 5 inch background pieces did you cut and how many 5 inch charms did you use to sew 1/2 square triangle er, please.

I can’t remember for sure, since that was many months ago. However, if you go to modafabrics.com and search under free patterns, you’ll find all the pattern instructions there. It’s called Moda Love.

The ruler grips are by gypsy quilter from the fat quarter shop. The ruler is called clearly perfect slotted ruler. You can get that on amazon

It was a 6”x24” Omnigrid ruler with a Gypsy Quilter ruler grip. The iron is a Panasonic cordless iron. Not sure of model number.

The triangular ruler is from a range of Perfect Slotted Rulers as there are slots to put your rotary cutter into to cut the “dog ears” off as you cut. If you look closely in the video at the triangle you can see the elongated teardrop shapes sitting at right angle to the edge. Sorry, clear as mud!
