ProE is going back a few years - it's called Creo now and it's on v10. Do you mean Creo Parametric or Creo Elements Direct? If you wanted to do the same modelling in Creo Parametric it would probably take 4 times as long and for this modelling complexity and it would probably costs x50 or 5000% more for the licence. In Plasticity and other dynamic modellers, the changeability after modelling is extremely easy for many aspects of the design, but for the more complicated shapes , experienced designers will not delete the essential construction geometry if it can't easily be derived from the final design. I am not advocating that parametric and history based modelling are inferior or old technology. KS demonstrates the power and adaptability of dynamic modelling. If after modelling in Creo Parametric, if a change is decided upon, there is no guarantee that the model has been parametrically modelled to make that particular change - it can be extremely difficult to make that change and keep all the other parameters satisfied or valid.
