You can also use them for you Vfx videos.
You will learn how you can create game asset with fast next gen workflow.
You will also learn few tip and tricks for creating UV's for covering the map data and will learn how to bake normal map, ambient occlusion map and also the alpha map for the mesh. You will also learn how you can use blender spin tool and snapping tool .You will learn how you can use 3d and 2d cursor in your workflow.
This is the second part for the previous tutorial. So if you have not watched it I will recommend you to watch that before watching this one. You can click on this link for the previous tutorial:-

Loved the tutorials! I have watched part 1 and it really helped me with understanding how to approach modularity and how to bake textures! I couldn't believe that with just watching a video twice I could understand the concept and apply it on my own. You are truly gifted in teaching! :) I hope to see more tutorials in the future!

The title of the previous tutorial sort of made me sad because it didn't say "Part 1". Which kind of implied it was supposed to be one and only. And we are always sad when something really good comes to an end. Please , please, keep 'em coming!

Creating the Normal & Alpha texture for the Fire Escape is a really eye opening approach and a wonderful example as shown in this tutorial. I've just finished mine and I'm really pleased with the results. Of course some further tweaking is needed to close the top opening where no stairs is and to change the bottom stairs opening to an opening with a retractable ladder - which will be well within a persons capability if they can follow along. Many thanks..

People say baking is so great in Blender, I say marmoset is better however this thing that people consider baking in Blender is better for simple things at least. I actually like the notion of building textures from modeling. It was in the back of my mind but I never bothered. Think I will take up this tutorial hell I had no clue what some tools did nor even knew existed like the rotate tool. I am a transfer student from Modo.

I agree, it'd be dope to see him approach more traditional architecture as well. In the meanwhile, have you checked the tutorial Gametextures made on the similar topic? It's very high quality, real-time, approaches with a modular, non-destructive workflow for creating a Japanese building with that curvy rooftop and uses Trim sheets as well, it's pretty much exactly what you're looking for lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qODD-79i5_4.html

how come you have a clear UV map when you're unwrapping the side air duct at 15:15 ? did you hide the rest? because all my other faces are showing up from unwrapping the front part. also is there any need for the airduct AO? you didn't seem to bother using it..
