Love to watch you struggle in the cold at least a car shed and heater would make a big difference. Next time spray lube the dawg spring area and the main spring while it is apart to prolong the life of the recoil starter. I would rather replace one than have to install a new spring which sometimes are not sold separately.
Snow Blowers should not rust like that PERIOD. Snow , rain, humidity ranges, temp variations. Like a wet suit that leaks. Major problem you missed on why the pull cord broke…the EYELIT on the recoil housing that the handle sits in is RUSTED corroded and sharp edges. You fixed nothing unless you sanded it down and hit it with lithium grease. You are welcome. In closing you must love to hear yourself talk. I bet your wife wears ear plugs.
@@waynestefinashen239 if he wasn’t standing on that curb he wouldn’t be able to see over the handle bars. These blowers should come with check your height before you can blow stick.
Would need more information to help you out with this one buddy but normally if the engine is not responding to the throttle movement it may simply need lubrication on the throttle control. If it is winding out at too high an rpm the governor may need resetting also or the screw on the throttle control that adjusts the rpm may need to be unscrewed. At EP we recently had one winding out and would not throttle down but appears others had fooled with the machine and bent the metal arm on the throttle plate that the linkage hooks to and it needed to be bent back in to resolve the issue. Hope this helps buddy.
