I started off watching restorations a couple of years ago but then I saw your channel and it was all over. Your makeovers are so beautiful and unique. A joy to watch you work.
It's good but, you know, mid century design is always practical, if you were to be authentic. The inside woks for something. Unfortunately the top works for nothing. Good news is it can be modified. Vote 💙 USA
Ya know, at first I was thinking, what is with the crazy angle? You can't put anything on top. Then I realized that all cabinets should be made like this. It's far more ergonomic to grab something out of it and you don't have to bend all the way down to see what's on the bottom shelf. Absolute genius! I want all my cabinets to look like this!
That thing looks like it could come to life and walk away!!! I love restorations videos for the loving care of preserving history, but I love makeovers like this because it shows you can make something beautiful from someone else's trash and I love the surprise of seeing the end result!

At first I wasn’t sure about the tilt thing, but when you opened the doors and the shelves inside don’t tilt? Totally brilliant, unexpected and I love it.

You have such a great creative eye. You took something that was basically ready for the scrap pile and made it into a statement. You're like a musician who plays a piece by ear with no sheet music. Very nice!

That's very cool and creative, from a rather plain junker piece. This would make a great cabinet for pricier yarn skeins, special fabrics, and artist-tier spray paints, as well as for books; nothing would get squashed at the bottom of a stack, or left hard to reach behind the first couple of rows. Not sure of the bottom's exact depth here, but the design would be good for smaller-scale wine storage, too. Could be a great toybox, for pet toys or kids who've outgrown 'baby'-ish things. A surprising lot of uses, when you think about it. Excellent work.
This piece is fantastic; your skills in creating are really enjoyable to watch. I like restorations and makeovers - having some variety is nice. I also like that the videos are relatively quiet, and when you are outside and can hear the birds and wind. Not what you would typically expect from a woodworking video, but it is exactly why I keep coming back to watch more.
So edgy. I love it. When you look at it your senses don't quite know what to make of it. This is art not just renovated furniture. I appreciate it so much for how it engages me. I would really enjoy having this in my home. Brilliant work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Once I started to watch the video, I wondered what you were going to do with a "simple" piece like that. Oh my gosh Andy, it’s so good to see you back. Lots of stress here in the States so watching your clever design and meticulous work soothed me. I foolishly branded it the “drunk trunk” but it a deserves better name. 😎 The brilliant legs surprised me and looked terrific. So much beauty from scraps. The different shapes between outside and inside bends my migraine mind. But everyone else will love it as a space saver. Can you sell the plans? I can’t see you wanting to pound out dozens.
