Put some washers behind the top two screws so this way your radio will line up a bit better with the vents

Would’ve been nice if you showed us the wiring process

If you adjust those screws in the back and pull them out for a little bit, that’s how you adjust the fitment before you fully mount the system you do have to put it in and take it out so until you get the proper fitment, but you can adjust that socomes out flush with everything else. Hope that helps.

There should be an AC info screen you have to allow It in the settings I can see what temperature the ac is at

Good decision bro! It looks good. I have another type of screen. I had to take off the CD player part too. The only button on my dash is for the hazard lights. Everything from the air con to the volume buttons are on the screen. It’ll probably cost a few hundred more, but to me it makes it look better as it leaves less lines. Don’t get me wrong because the inside looks so much better with the screen in there. In terms of the sound quality, there are tuts on here that will show you how to adjust the equaliser for perfect sound 👍 Great upgrade man. Your car is sweet 👌

Recently did this and it works good and sounds better then my am fm tuner I used before this cons- reboot takes awhile (yes I have the android 12 version) Rear defrost/mirror defrost does not have an option so it doesn’t work Seat heaters and coolers do not work (I think they are constantly on low now) Even with gps connected the maps only work when I’m connected with my phone /internet , Fitment is off and no a “washer” will not fix this, either you can make the sides line up and have a gap up top or vice versa Pros Cheaper then getting a new nav stereo Looks good Retains steering control functions Equalizer is a million times better then the Lexus factory software Styling looks oem

I have the same unit and couldn’t figure out the climate controls for the longest time. You have to go under the extra settings and choose the correct canbus setting to get the climate control display to show.

I was thinking about updating my IS as well but I saw some reviews that said it effected the sound quality. If you could, can you do an updated video later on and how you fixed the AC?

How does sound quality compare with the factory head unit, I've seen some videos of similar units and they all had an issue with sound quality getting bad after the swap.

You should buy some tesa tape to clean up that wiring or at least just to use in the future. It makes the wiring look like it came from factory.

The head unit looks good and sounds decent; if anything it sounds a little louder than stock but does need tuning...What sucks is that you cannot control the AC through the app that's built into the head unit the buttons to adjust fan speed and stuff work, but I have no idea was mode or temps my air conditioner/ heater is on.

Great job on the install nephew!!..btw get some beat and some highs, should help with the sound quality.

I plugged everything up right but I cannot get the screen to turn on! The green lights illuminate around the buttons but that’s it. Any help or suggestions

I've ordered the 10" "tesla" screen head unit a week ago and now (while waiting forever on deliver) am curious about how this new unit will handle the security alarm and AC controls. There could be other features incorporated into the oem radio, I'm hoping that I didn't order a head unit that I can use bc it looks great.
