@Keshav Jindal China did privatized Agriculture but partially under the watch of the Chinese government. Here in India the Farm laws were passed unconstitutionally as well as it did not set any specific criteria regarding the assurance of a good minimum income to the farmers.
@Keshav Jindal If government retracted itself from Agriculture and allowed private players to enter sooner or later, private players would have monopoly over Agricultural sector which would have been easily prone to exploitation especially to the farmers.

We Indonesians did the same in 2002, the government gave up after 3 months of protest and instated a hybrid system where crops can still be optionally sold to private collectors but 60% of total harvest must only be sold to state collectors who monopolized the price.
I guess Modi most likely took back only to win in upcoming elections(because of severe opposition). Not only modi, most parties do the same thing. They make fake promises near election times and don't excecute them if they win.

Now Farmers are my inspiration for determination and discipline. Their spirit and generosity is applauded However it is so shameful that everyone tried to talk to the statuesque govt yet it took a year and loss of 600 farmers for Our govt to take back the laws.

So happy for farmers. But farmers also shouldn't think that the real reason for repeal of farmers bill is UP election & not because of sacrifices of 700 innocent farmers life as his ruthlessness is well known.
But how has the fund REALLY been used. Regimes are bad. But don't forget all the bureaucrats. Corruption happens mostly there. Just to get a license you got to give baksheesh to everyone. Women's safety and police brutality is still a huge issue in India going on for many years.

The support in Canada and UK parliament was all because of Sikhs who had migrated there post ‘47 and then genocide of ‘84. @TU$HAR if msp is set, there is no compulsion if private players would buy crops. It's there choice, whether to buy or not and then whole pressure would come to government. And then these so called farmers would protest again why government not buying there crops. This can never happen, as government has other things to focus too. These propagandist used the farmer emotion of the country to get help. No famer no food, as if farmers are giving food to everyone for free. Everyone in this country works hard to earn bread and butter. Noone gets food for free. Yes farmer grows it, but a middle class and poor pays for it. People are not understanding it. I myself come from farmer background. We are half dependent on our farmland and half through job. If everyone starts protest telling people how much they work hard, that's not how country works. If tomorrow armymen starts protesting that they don't get pension, and start showing on media that country is not secured without them, then some people would blindly follow them. Professionalism is essential in every sector, it's not about telling people how much they work hard and without them country is nothing. Every person holds the pillar of growth of this country, par uska Ehsan nhi marna chiye. People need to understand the bigger picture of how country works. You are wrong. The thing was BJP was not allowed to visit villages in Punjab, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. They were literally boycotted, ask any upitte. UP has 78% villages and BJP saw that coming. This was a unique protest in history.

Under unbiased condition I can easily prove that it is not violating UAPA. Infact, it's symbol of national integrity and unity against bad things happening. It's not against any XYZ govt. It's valid in any period.

Sorry to say but it’s not Gandhi’s spirit. Punjab led this whole movement and Punjabis don’t care about Gandhi. It’s our Gurus spirit, namely Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji who taught us to stand for what we believe in, even if that means we have to die trying to get it. It’s their spirit.
@Saksham Mishra and do u know even something about farm laws. When u don't guarantee msp to farmers z just tell me at which price farmers will sell crops. And if corporates would buy crops for free, there would be no use in moving legally after all msp is not guaranteed
Proud to be a farmer's son. Congratulations to all my fellow Indians we have won, but the fight is still on untill the country becomes free from the clutches of fascist government and their corporate friends.
Congratulations but one question still remains. How will problems of farm sector solved? Existing laws were bought in 60s when India was going through famine. India needed wheat and rice. Now because of these laws we produce 2 times more then required rice and wheat. We import parm etc which can be grown here. But don't have MSP so no farmer grows it. Then 50% of wheat and rice rot and pure waste of tax money. There should be one change at least the government should only procure as much as required and stop procurement once reaching that level. Last year budget for first time showed loss in FCI and it was 3lakh crores.. Air India loss is nothing before FCI loss. . Repealing is okay but how will issues be fixed. Modi will not bring this law again as he gave importance to win election than what is good for India. This law was right thing. It could have been amended as required.. I don't agree with this decision. Old laws for current situation are turning bad for this nation and are bleeding our tax money

There were expert committees like .swaminathan commission report..which has gone indepth and with recommendations which arent discussed let alone implemented. Modiji has lost all credibility and into the lame duck season. He was never well intentioned anyway.

Like any other industry we should have demand and supply has to be applied to farm so that we produce all kind of farm products. But farmers only produce msp crop and we import lot of other crops. Instead of msp government should provide insurance to farmers if crop fails that will stop suicides. MSP is old idea bought in to get us out of famine where we need specific crop. Maximum benefit was taken by Punjab, haryana and parts of UP but we are now producing 2 times what is required due to MSP and 50% is wasted by FCI and government doesn't have money to protect small land and leased farmers where real problem lies and money should be spent. These laws were first step towards that but rich farmers won over others.
@@INDPYROTECH below are the problems in farms. Tell me your solution. 1. Due to MSP farmers only produce specific crop. We import parm etc which are not MSP crops. Rice and wheat are procedure 2 times then required and FCI procures all. 50% rot due to overproduction. FCI posted 3 lakh crores loss as per last budget. Air India loss is nothing before this loss. If farmers are happy with removing laws but India is paying huge price for them. 2. Most of the scheme help rich farmers and small land owners and leased farmers commit suicide. Government doesn't spent money on them as they are already taking huge loss in taking over produce crop and rot them. Same money can be used as insurance for leased and less land owners. Biggest challenge India has is MSP which violates demand supply concept. Farmers want that to be stronger then before. I feel sad for small and leased farmers because rich farmers don't want to change laws as they will loose 3. Brokers in between making huge money and farmers have to sell products at MSP which something is lower than demand. They have total control on price as they operate as syndicate. Consumer pays heavy price and hardly anything reaches farmers. How r v going to break this chain

IMHO farmers shouldn't forget what the BJP did, and they shouldn't give B*P a single vote at any cost. And the repeals of farmer bills isn't the grace of Mo*i, it's the result of the struggle of the honorable farmers.

It's crazy how unexpected the strongest opposition to the BJP was. No one not CAA not NRC not the opposition no-one could challenge the government but the farmers didn't only challenge them but brought them down to their knees completely overwhelming them. Big respect to our farmers
