TBF changing wounds to health seems a good change, i been making health bars on paper for characters/monsters and units to keep track of that stuff for both 40k and AoS for a couple of years now. With exception of 1 opponent i never had issues with it. That opponent kept putting dice next to my models (which i didnt moved with my models when i moved them) despite the the army list with noted down health was clearly visible.

I get why it makes sense from a rules standpoint! But I didn't think it was a difficult concept to understand as a new player in my experience :)

I think the change to double turn will simply speed up the game. If I am losing so bad that my opponent chooses to take the double, I am probably shaking hands right there. (unless I think they made a really bad call)

Just played my 2nd game yesterday and well the double turn of my ossiarch counter player destroyed my Vamps. So i had one game winning through double turn and one loss. Maybe working on that mechanic can balance a few things out a little better. :)

They’re doing index’s like they did 40k right? Rules are free online (from GW) but they will sell u physical stuff if u would prefer. Or am I wrong?

On abilities... does this mean no more spell lists?

They mentioned there are still spell lores. This just means when interpreting rules you know that a spell falls under the wording of an ability

A couple things about command points and abilities, unfortunately it’s very easy for new players use abilities and spells in at the wrong timing of a phase. The game unofficially has sub phases that arnt really outlined in the core rules “start of phase, in phase and at the of phase”
