You’re absolutely right. There are a lot of places to go. Although I do dream of riding in North America one day. Who knows.... For the maps, I use Adobe After Effects with a plug-in called GeoLayers. It can import GPX generated by my GPS on the bike.

Backroad Motorcycle Adventures - you’re very lucky to have all of Europe at your doorstep. You’ll like North America because of all the diverse terrain, but it’s big and the interesting areas are far apart. The grass is always greener...

I stayed the night a couple of years ago, at a little local place, and was let to believe by the owner, that there are heavy restrictions on the land use in the park and it’s surroundings. Even for private owned land. But government change, so does the rules. But I agree with you. It wouldn’t have been the same if it had been crowded. Thanks for watching.

Jim Crawford Google Earth Studio can do some cool things as well. It can import KML files and overlay those on the 3D map. If you want, you can sign up at earth.google.com/studio
