@@chancemathews7057 Well he is marrying a 19 yr old, how mature do you think he is? A real man wouldn't be embarrassed at crying at a gender reveal for his baby, but I'd bet he's a controlling, insecure ass. She's way too young for a baby and marriage, they won't last.
@@jamsaidemelo1367 Many, many, many welfare moms. That's why poor moms don't get married and mom prolly doesn't care. Single mom benefits are much higher.
@@rebbeccapage1122 -He looked ready to cry. You can tell the teen-aged girlfriend wears the pants in that situation. The couple made fools of themselves by agreeing to appear on JJ for a hotel and cold sandwiches, maybe a plane ride.
Some years ago I didn´t understand what JJ said about 10 years from today.... now I do, I can't remember the face of my ex-boyfriends but my mom is always in my mind as well as my dad, and they are always in my dreams.
If you can’t afford to take your dog to the vet why on earth do you think it’s a great idea to be jobless, unmarried and pregnant at 19. I think the daughter needs to grow up and listen to what Judge Judy was telling her. Kids really are the best thing in this world, but you need to be able to raise and support them.
I'm sure her pregnancy wasn't planned. Abortion isn't available in most states nowadays because all the pro-lifers care about the baby's life until they are born.
My thoughts exactly. Not only that but throwing a pointless gender reveal and upcoming baby shower that’s more money the baby will need. I thought she was way older at first. 19 and unemployed! I don’t know about the guy but I doubt she has real money saved up. They’re in for a rude awakening
That girl needs to grow up and get more mature, because she's having baby. Getting a baby is a tough road ahead of you and you need all the support (incl. mother) you can get.
He said maybe to the mom coming to the wedding, not about them getting married at all. He does get a say and you have to remember that there's a lot more going on than even JJ is knowing that he's seeing because he's there.
@@jedimasters1462 like JJ said he needs to stfu. Who cares that he irresponsibly got her pregnant that's her mom and he shouldn't be feeding into any negativity between the two of them.
These three do not comprehend what a gift of wisdom JJ is giving them. Yeah she's being hard on them, but wow what she's saying is gold. We all should be *listening* and not just hearing what is going on in this case.
Baby shower, Gener reveal party all this bull shit and no wedding? i think these peoples priority is warped. Who cares about this gimmicky stuff if you don't really care about whats most important. LIke JJ said who knows wats gonna happen later on.
The same pettiness that makes a woman want to cut off her mom for something as stupid as a photo on Facebook is borne of the pettiness that makes a woman sue her six month pregnant daughter for $300. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and unfortunately, it seems like it's a tree that doesn't prioritize family over petty drama and it so we have an apple that doesn't prioritize family over petty drama. I love how the defendants acted like they supposedly hate the mom, yet they liked her enough to let her pay for their vet bill and store their baby shit. But that's also major teenage behavior. Hating mom until you need something, then suddenly, she's your bestie. This is why babies shouldn't have babies.
you hit the nail on the head! The apple didnt fall too far from the tree! However, the mom should know better at her big age than to sue her pregnant teenage daughter over a small balance. That mom is toxic and unfortunately, she was the blueprint for her daughter
When JJ did the whole "in 10 years, you won't know who he is" I was thinking "c'mon, not cool." I didn't realize that she was only 19. Yeah, JJ is right with this one.
It's harsh but not untrue. She really has seen the same story over and over again for decades. Not to say it never works out, but if a guy is dragging his feet on giving you a ring, even when you're pregnant with his baby, maybe don't hold your breath.
I still disagree, because if she has the child this man will (hopefully) be around for the next 18 years, even if they separate. So she probably will remember his face 🙈
@@chai_burns Yes, she'll remember his face from dragging him into court for child support meanwhile she will have moved back in with her mother and mom will be mostly supporting the defendant and the baby(ies).
I'm old I seen this over and over. When you're young, you think you know everything, but in reality, you don't know anything. But your mom will forever be there.
Electric Judy said girls do this to their mothers but boys protect their mothers. Ever since I was a little girl I was ashamed of how females get demented over a man they barely met
That’s the realest sh*t I’ve ever heard JJ say on her show about her relationship with her bf. I’ve seen it with my former friends… Seen it happen multiple times on the show Teen Mom… Would love to see an update on their relationship so I can have a good laugh.
We told her we didn't want that money. So then why did you take it? If you can afford the vet bill, then no money needs to be taken. If your mother insisted on paying it and you wanted to pay her back so she had no control over you, then you pay it back in full, not in payments.
That's always the go-to excuse when it comes to paying back, isn't it? Neither one said to the person at the vet's office, "Don't take her money, whatever you do!" People say the same thing in cases where they're being sued for bail money. If these two are grown enough to play house, they should be grown enough to handle their debts.
I like when judge Milian says “how big was the gun to your head?” Because that’s the only defense that would work. Because ultimately you DID take the money. If I didn’t want it I wouldn’t take it, no amount of insisting will get me to take money from somebody if I didn’t want it. And if I for some reason did, and they asked for it back, I would just give it back to avoid the drama.
"Is this going to make it better or worse?" She should give that out on cards to all three of them to hold up for themselves every time they interact 😆
JJ always handles conniving spouses or conniving mother in laws. Love it. Alot more relationships would be saved if ppl heard this kind of stuff directly
She may always be her mother, but some mothers don't deserve unlimited love and respect. The photo/meme wasn't the issue, it was that the Plaintiff refused to take it down, in order to be spiteful. I'll say it again, there's more to this than just the 300 hundred dollars or the FB post.
yes, I am not understanding everybody coming down on the daughter. If my mother posted a picture of me and refused to take it down if I told her I had an issue with it, she is the disrespectful one..
judge really wanted them to get married when the male defendant said MAYBE to the marriage ON TV WHILE shes pregnant, it rang alarm bells the female defendant laughing at it due to embarrassment tells a lot but shes only 19 right now so that explains a lot
@@xoangelicaf0523 they arent ready to commit legally or religiously but they are having a full blown baby together they are thinking of marriage if a baby doesnt seal the deal then when are they going to be ready??
I think the maybe was regarding inviting the mother to the wedding. I didn't feel like it was whether they will get married or not. Just before they said maybe, JJ asked if the mother was invited to the gender reveal party and baby shower then marriage.
@@xoangelicaf0523so what are the best chances for that baby to have both parents in her life/ married or in married. If you don’t think it matters then the mother should put the child up for adoption to a two parent household,
I get what JJ is saying about the mother-and-daughter relationships but not everybody was raised with a kind, gentle loving mother. Some mothers are horrible, some even kill their children.
@vonsgone Rubbish. If that mother was even remotely that awful, the defendant wouldn't be around her and she certainly wouldn't have her child around her mother. Also, I would hardly think that's funny.
I’ve gone years at a time without getting a phone call from my mom on my birthday. Every few years when she felt generous, she would send me a text message. I can’t imagine having a mom that would be willing to do everything this mom has so far. The baby daddy is definitely behind keeping the teenager keeping things good with her family. What a loss, that’s too bad.
I could never see myself suing my baby for $300 smh Edit: if yall have a different opinion from mine i really could care less. We all parent differently so pls just stfu & parent your kids as you please 😫
@@MazvitaMasanzu regardless she still gave birth to that girl, and on top of that she’s carrying her future grand-baby. She decided to sue her at 6 months pregnant? That’s sad asf
Well, she isn’t exactly a baby, and she’s not exactly a very thoughtful daughter, expecting her mom to pay her way, and the goofy looking interfering boyfriend doesn’t help matters. I’m quite certain, as JJ predicts, he won’t even be in the picture in years to come.
lol love how she basically agrees that she won’t know this guy in 10 years lol But it’s true people will go all out for baby showers and gender reveals but can’t even work on their relationship
They don't know the correct priorities... Jobless/penniless, pregnant, teenage(s)...decided to have dog(s), have baby(ies), have other unimportant gimmick parties before marriage... Dude's probably got ashamed because his crybaby photo got spread, and push the young girl to be mad at her mom (the one who will still help her through her rough future life). Now not only that photo was seen by millions, millions also saw him with misty eyes got schooled by JJ. I wish they will, but I don't think they will last. Hopefully they learned something from this experience. (PS: Mothers aren't perfect (these women surely aren't), but they will be our mothers forever. My mother was a horrible narc, our relationship was rocky for the whole 43 years of my life until her passing...I don't really miss her that much, but I do still see her sometimes in my dreams. She is still and will always be my mother).
*That's exactly my thought!!!!!!!* And now not only his embarrassing crybaby pic is seen by JJ viewers, we can also see his eyes on the verge of tears getting schooled by JJ. 😂
All this drama over a rather humorous photo that they originally posted? Wow. Just Wow. There has to be more to this than the photo. This was JJ at her finest.
A pregnant woman is healthier than most of us. She's not sick. Just got caught. If she had cancer, no. But knocked up? YES she can face her responsibilities. It's past time for her especially.
❤ Looking for this comment! The photo was meant to be shared between the group of friends & family only!...Heafty took it a step further and posted it so anyone can see/comment. It was rude of the mother to cross that boundary, mean spirited. Ppl laughing at you and not with you kinda vibe...Didn't think it was a bright idea to bring the actual photo to public tv court, think it made it worse. But hopefully the young couple got married and are doing well.
My ex wife hated my mother so much for personal reasons (probably a culture gap but she's never had a good childhood and hated both her parents who neglected her and I understand how she probably projects that towards my mom) but my life has been so much better after we divorced. I hated that she wanted me to hate my mom with her.
This guy disrespects her Mother on national TV?! And she let's him?! She's disgusting!!!! I would never marry that! Imagine what he'll do to her when he's pissed off 😮 She's angry at her mother from stuff years ago and is still rebelling that's how she got knocked up. When he's gone her Mother will be there for her.
this is a 10 minute episode, we have no idea what led up to this. i wouldn’t be surprised if the mother is toxic given that she made a meme of her daughter and refused to take it down when asked.
Sometimes I don’t agree with JJ, today is one those times. We don’t know the nuances of the mom/daughter relationship. I’m old enough to know, not all women should be moms. I would never post a photo of my daughter ugly crying on a social media platform for others to make fun of. A loving, caring mom just would not do that, but a narcissistic mom sure would.
Yeah, but remember that the daughter posted it first. She’s the one who sent it to her mom to begin with. That photo was going to be available publicly even after it was pulled down. If you don’t want it to be on the internet, don’t post it!!!
That's true but Judge Judy is old school. It used to mean you were taking the relationship and having a baby seriously. Whether they got married or not, I bet they aren't together anymore.
I think marriage now is more of a showey off thing. Oooo look at me! And thousands of stories and bullshit on social media about it. why i am sick of people and social media!
You all in this comment thread loose points for lack of listening skills. She clearly said for marriages the chance of staying together is already 50/50 , then she went on saying that chances are even higher when not planning to get married.
Wow great lesson from JJ always 🎉. Messages like that are rare cus people want to be "Nice" but that was amazing and will definitely help you make the right choice. I hope the girl too that to heart
A Poster said something like,"When the Daughter's boyfriend/Baby Daddy dumps her, she's going to come crawling to her Mother for help with the Baby! 🤣🤔💡
The fact that the defendant didnt pay mom back because she shared that picture is crazy when shes the one who came on tv and shared it with the world! OMG. This case was ridiculous
The fact that the boyfriend is actually in support of the rift between mother and daughter is a red flag. He likes his own mom but would not encoucarege the same for his girlfriend and her mom
Lmao Judge Judy is a Savage saying she won’t even remember what the baby daddy looks like, calling out they’re unmarried multiple times, telling her she’s gonna chase him down for child support 😂😂😂
This one left a bad taste in my mouth. The defendants are still together, seemingly planning a wedding. Not all moms are good moms. Judy had no reason to lay into this young couple the way she did.
The knowledge and life lessons that Judge Judy imparts on litigants is mind blowing. “Touch him” 😂. It’s probably been almost ten years since this case. I wonder where they are now.
While I agree with JJ about the baby daddy, we have no idea what kind of mother that woman is. If she wouldn't remove that photo, knowing that it bothered her daughter, no matter how silly it seemed, that says something about the kind of mother she is.
What JJ said was very dismissive. You can’t tell someone after meeting them for 5 minutes that they are going to be a deadbeat dad. Also, moms can be toxic too especially in this case. Suing your daughter over $400 because you didn’t like the way she spoke to you about photos she didn’t like is crazy. Then, to keep your grandchild’s stuff is ridiculous. What JJ said in this instance was very unnecessary because I’ve see the worst kind of people on this show and this couple was nowhere near them.
The defendant's attitude toward her mom says everything about a teenager, who isn't ready to be adult enough to bring a child into this world, for she has one mother she should protect and love, as Judge Judy's words were well said to both she and her boyfriend.
The daughter has a very valid point, it says a lot about the mother who is suing her while 6 months pregnant over $400. Did she expect to go to the baby shower and just carry on as if nothing happened? Some people are better off without guilt tripping moms. The boyfriend is involved because he’s the one stuck dealing with the drama between mother and daughter.
@@breerea9928 I bet it's more about the boyfriend taking responsibility. It seems the mom is rightfully concerned about an immature 19 yr old being with that jerk.
A few people will disagree but I don't believe that this was the best route for the mother... A lot of us probably can assume that case wasn't really about $395 but a deeper reason. And Judge Judy said it many times in past episodes that suing your kid for petty reasons is never the route to go.
I was expectingJJ to school the mother also. A mother suing her child for 400 dollars is petty and taking it a bit too far. It's not about teaching her daughter to be responsible, she was probably irritated by her daughter's tone instead. That's her problem; SHE raised her. She is partly to blame. Plus, making it into a lawsuit puts more strain to their relationship. It's by no means a good way to teach her responsibility. Quite the contrary; it's a surefire way to make her even more angry.
