I gave this one 2 shots - after only playing a couple of Arena Cube drafts (and watching the LR primer). My first shot was 6-2 with Wb aggro going into my last game (got lucky with being on the play almost every game and the first 2 losses where to bad opening hands) and a turn away from winning when my opponent topped deck the perfect card to steal the game. My second run was less successful with a janky esper build that went 4-3 (was often on the draw, didnt have good hands either). I've found this cube to be fun for a little while but ultimately the OP stuff is just unfun to play against.

Went 6-3 twice today in the open from 6-0 and 5-0 respectively, 70% of my wins were close wins with perfect play, every loss was to opponent going first with either a nut aggro curve or a nut ramp curve along with perfect counterspells, removals, or game ending threats, 4 of the 6 games i was one turn from stablizing but died to exact lethal, really tilting experience

The interface they give you when you're controlling your opponent's turn is soooo bad. It also seems like they barely give you any time on the timer.

@@henndahm72 Yeah I guessed it is. Make sense for it to be phantom as there would be otherwise incentive to pick rares you might want to use in constructed rather than what's best for your draft deck - and there's lot of those in cube. But it was not told explicitly in the arena open event - while it is told in the cube draft events.

Man, I hate oracle so much. Whenever my oponnent plays it, they draw time walk or ancestral recall. Even without additional draws/scries. Meanwhile, I only top deck the fast mana cards when I dont have anything to cast anymore
