I'm still convinced that the daylite monarq and the white feather forever carbon are one and the same bow. They look exactly alike. Same decoration , same handle wrapping, even the blue leather arrow pass, all the same. Only the logo on the belly side is different. And the price, for sure. Coincidence?

Either one of these bows would be completely welcome on my bow rack.... but I don't own a Korean bow (yet)... and my draw length is only about 31" at best... So either of these beauties would fill the gap.... (I don't have an assyrian bow either).

Well done. Nice shooting. I think the "early torque initiated" technique is the better way to shoot a Korean bow, as it initiates the side kathra, so I find when shooting my Korean bow compared to my Tatar and Turkish. l don't know why but it is like that, maybe because of the arrow pass, maybe? I like to watch your videos because I like to watch you shoot and I like to attempt to mimic your style of shooting. Thanks again.

@@davidezanzo Korean bows are super fast with light arrows and full draw. Also, the shorter the bow, the faster the speed. I have seen comparisons of Korean bows, same make and model, just different sizes. I would bet that with heavier arrows, a longer draw length would overcome the speed benefits of the shorter bows...

Hello Armin, talking about (under-)spine: have you seen that video yet "Building and Hunting with Massively Overspined Arrows" from HuntPrimitive? Interesting approach, although i am not interested in hunting
@ArminHirmer
@ArminHirmer 3 года назад
Nope. Imo too stiff is not good either. Will be topic if a new video
@0ooTheMAXXoo0
@0ooTheMAXXoo0 Год назад
Hunters seem to prefer heavier arrows... With torque, stiffer spines (or a little too weak) are no problem. But if you are not torquing the bow out of the way, then you need exactly the right spine so that the arrow bends around the bow instead of being deflected to the side.
@gizmonomono
@gizmonomono 3 года назад
A torque and a string twist are obligatory here 😁 I wish the, make the Kheshig in this modern carbon material. I would love to see how that one performs.

Your #55 pound Korean bow should shoot with 350sp arrows @ 33” draw (arrow length 34.5”) or 400sp arrows @ 31” draw (arrow length 32.5) arrow length measured from valley of nock to base of field point/broadhead. Field points should be 75gr for faster arrow. Heavier tips better for hunting, better penetration but just a tad slower.
