Is there any reason other than preference to cut back the Valencia Pride and completely replace with other cultivar(s)? What if the preference is to have multiple cultivars on the same tree - one of which is a VP? I have a Glenn planted in a suboptimal shady area and I want to graft it onto a VP. My goal is to harvest Glenn and VP from the same tree. Will veneer grafts work for this?
