monk is so great for multiclassing, I would probably take fighter 2 over warlock just because of action surge but that’s some cool bonus action tech that I hadn’t considered! everyone knows about the helmet of grit but the pyroquickness hat doesn’t see a lot of love in these build videos

Helldusk helmet gives immunity to crits, which is extremely valuable. Magic darkness sight is also great. So, I wouldn't do that warlock thing, esp considering that Vest reaction is quite good Monk 9 Thief 3 vs Monk 8 Thief 4 is up to debate, I prefer having extra feat vs extra aoe. Having stat stick on Monk 9 limits you to 1 action attack per enemy, which isn't ideal when you need to burst someone down before they do anything. Also, monk 7 gives evasion, which is quite valuable, a lot of aoe has dex saving throw - monk gets no damage on success and half on fail. Gauntlet of the tyrant - good alternative until BIS Hope gloves, also force damage, the type with least resistances on any enemy. Also Bonespike and Helldusk gloves You should be using Elixirs of Cloud Giant Strength on monk. Those stat sticks without Monk 9 are just taking away damage, you can't seriously be hitting with a stick as OH monk. Consider having Nyrulna in the inventory, you can throw it and then unequip - unequipping doesn't take action. Good ranged alternative Get Mirror of loss +2 WIS Ascended Astarion is best monk in the game due to 1d10 necrotic on all attacks
