@DandruffAnimations dogs are easy to read if you know their behaviours. Heavy panting and contantly looking at the dude for reassurance means it's showing signs of stress.

Smart dog. Monkeys can become aggressive. I know someone who had two and they had to give them up because of aggression. One became aggressive and I don't remember why they ended up giving up both of them. The dog definitely doesn't look comfortable.
The dog knew it needed to act as non-confrontational as possible around that chimp, as to not invoke any negative reaction, but the guy was really forcing that chimp on the dog. Just leave the poor mutt alone 😅
You can see the chimp was trying to avoid making eye contact with a larger predator as would be expected. On the contrary the dog is actively trying to look the chimp in the eye to assess its character as would be expected. In chimp culture this would be an invitation to battle for dominance. Lucky he didn’t try to rip the dog to shreds
@cr1187 There are many stories like that. People raise male chimps and are surprised when testosterone makes the chimp go chimp, lol. It's not just in captivity, either. There's stories of chimps hunting human children as food in Africa.
Chimps go for the things you need to be happy. Face, hands, feet and genitals. You should check out Joe Rogan ranting about vicious chimps. People are idiots for trying to make them into pets.
