@@genseven4616 Yep, these animals are overpopulated and useless. Destroy homes and farms. At least put them to work. Too bad long-tail macaques can’t be easily trained like the pigtail.
@@vg7735 Ssssh, some people, including employees are treated way worst than this monkey is. And this monkey in my opinion is treated that bad. He's a good worker for a monkey.
@@undies891 These monkeys are being abused. They are taken from their parents from a very young age, they are whipped and beaten to be trained to do this, they are chained at all times and locked in cages, they are forced to do this without stop for life. It's animal abuse
@@Xx_BoogieBomber_xX Okay and the alternative is for expensive machinery that these third world shit holes cannot afford, or climbing up themselves which is extremely dangerous, or just not being a coconut farmer at all and starving to death or finding another way of life. When yuppie woke types have to pay more for their vegan organic whole foods coconut water they'll stop caring about "animal abuse" on the other side of the planet. Plus these monkeys will bite your fucking face off if you abuse them, while they are on a leash(just like dogs are), they aren't treated as bad as you think. Watch some other videos and you'll see they treat them as any pet owner treats their companions. Maybe not as pampered as the womb-barren 35+yo women that substitute their pets for children, but still treated better than you think.
I wish to see the day when people and animals can communicate, then you don’t need ropes to control the animal, you just ask them kindly, they help you and then they ask you something in return
There is kindness and patience in his eyes. Many many many monkeys are chained to trees as pets in this country. Short chains. This is a much better life.
@@GeneralArmorusEven Horses get tied up and used for transportation, Cows forced to give birth, forced to take their calves so that we have milk, etc. so what's the difference??? At least they are being taken care of here.
@@kendivedmakarig215 thats not right what's done to cows.... we should make life better not say "others have it worse". you approve of human slavery too?
@@arielthepom This is animals not Humans. We have been using Animals for labor millions of years ago. At least these Monkeys are treated better than other animals.
@@daniellinehan63 They do that sometimes when they aren't working. That's a part of life. They are also attacked and eaten by other monkeys or wildlife.
@aAaa aAaa You can't say that about all of them. If you have ever worked in your life, you will find decent boss and some psycho boss in the workplace.
That was Helping Hands from Boston that trained capuchins to help handicap people. It was a success, until P.E.T.A and other animal rights groups kept attacking them saying it was abuse towards the monkeys. They finally stopped. Now they have several hundred capuchin monkeys living in an institution like setting for the rest of their lives. The older one they have is 48 yrs old. With nothing to do because of some over the top animal rights idiots.
@@mariehines1102 - It figures those outfits would be behind all that. Of all species of monkeys the capuchins seem to the most amenable to living with people. I wonder if they follow Y-T channels like monkeyboo where a fellow has two or three capuchins and they do seem to be a happy family. (But I don't disagree that owning any monkey is a lot of work.) Still, if it can be done successfully, these twerps should stop tampering with success. There are certainly bigger fish to fry regarding animal welfare.
That's clearly better than a life in the wild where the monkeys must find something to eat by themselves and encounter various enemies. They can be fed everyday for a reward and live in human society.
I'm honestly confused why so many people are tilted. Because he wears a leash he's abused? Because he climbs trees to gather just like his ancestors did means he's abused? This is really ground breaking actually, this shows that monkeys can be just as domesticated as dogs and cats.
That's amazing... In India, Kerala there is a need of them... Because we don't have enough people to climb up and pluck a few, most of the places are needy....
atleast those monsters are doing something useful for once instead of been fat hippos stealing and destorying everything. Once i had one,i got one that was 4-5 days old, i teached it right away to stand on 2 feet. So it only walked around like it, it was so funnt to see it every day XD
This is not a symbiosis, the only one who benefits from it is the human being! The monkeys are kept like slaves and often beaten when they disobey! Everything looks so harmonious in the video, but in reality it's a cruel business!
I dont know whats the difference between training a dog for circus act and shows that they do in the west and this,,the only difference is they do this to survive ,Kudos to the trainers
Should horses carry human or cow farm for us? Chickens lay eggs for us? Is that part of their capacity? Selective empathy to certain animal species is unfair
anyone else found it super weird that he had the monkey pick up each of his sandals individually only to drop them back on the floor and put them on. like we get it, you trained your monkey, put on your damn shoes yourself it would be quicker anyway wtf
Fallacy of Relative Privation: dismissing an argument or complaint due to the existence of more important problems in the world, regardless of whether those problems bear relevance to the initial argument. I hate to be that guy who points out logical fallacies as that's usually the province of smug, self important jackasses (which I at least try not to be) but I'm sick of seeing this one.
It's not an either/or & in fact this IS taking human jobs, meaning less human labour needed, meaning more people trying to get the same jobs, meaning they will need to work for lower wages or not get the job. We can care about both!
@@PhysicsOfParkourNope. If Dogs are not chained, but they are leased. Nothing's different from monkeys being chained. In fact, Monkeys lived a better life than K9.
This is a creature earning it's keep! You can train a monkey to pick coconuts...a dog to fetch your paper....a cat to kill the vermin etc human abuse other animals and humans for the almighty dollar ! Such is life
im waiting for the monkey owner to atleast give the monkey a food as reward..that would be a relief for the monkey and me watching..i felt sad it didnt happen.
At least it didn't get whipped in this video! If you watch other videos you'll see that that is reward enough for these poor creatures :'(( the level of abuse is horrendous!
I cant resist imaging how animal rights folk would consider this as animal slavery lol... But we eat animals, so slavery is far down the urgency ladder.
Cannot believe some people are actually defending this saying wild life is more tougher and harder than this...Reminds me of a Pink Floyd song line.. "Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?". Just because you feed them and give a better life does not mean you can take away their freedom.
In the wild ,he may not get food three times a day or if he gets it too then also it will not be enough to satisfy his hunger. It is more better to live a disciplined life like this than to live in the wild where a fear constantly has to be looked upon.
@@m1leswilliams Where are all these whippings people talking about? I haven't seen him whip this monkey, not once. All you people are doing is speculating. Some people have a special talent with working with animals that are peculiar. King Solomon had the power to communicate with wild animals and they obeyed. He didn't hit the animals. Don't say that this guy does that when you don't know.
sometimes animal is better that human, the monkey never complain, up to last last best of service he render to his master only to let him eat and dwell in the house
I would take it to the next level: -first train them on a string like they do -after they are good working on a string try without it -make them start working after an alarm siren goes off -you got yourself a self harvesting coconut plantation
if you think this guy is evil for doing this you need to open your eyes and see the real world there are more problems in the world than a guy who has a monkey that likes picking coconuts
sick_ibg like and forcing someone is different dude.. He trained them then he put a rope on monkeys neck to prevent that monkey to get away from him. Do you really think the monkey love or like what is he doing?? If that old man remove the rope on monkeys neck and still follow that old man then maybe you can convince me that the monkey likes what is he doing.
Monkeys are smart. In some places they train them to take tourists wallets, phones and purses. When the monkey runs off with it, it isnt the monkey who wanted it. They have no use for those things. They want the treat that they can trade it for. I should have stayed in Malaysia.
