The Monomachine is a digital synthesizer featuring numerous finely-tuned synthesis methods as well as sequencing capabilities. More info: www.elektron.se/products/monom...
@@m.o.n.d.e.g.r.e.e.n Even their deaths line up. Both of them were struck down before they reached their full potential and left behind albums that are now incredibly poignant in retrospect. I hate to think that we'll never get the next masterpiece after OOEPUI or Donuts.
@@richardkordts8656 the late SOPHIE . Rest In Peace. She made every sound in her music on this machine . If you wanna hear a cool track by her, maybe my fav: “Hard”
the sid back in action !!! good ;-) the monomachine is by far the best digital synth around in terms of mangling, sequencing & midi ctrls ... great vids
Really selling this thing short, I think, only demoing it's analog modelling mode, arrangement options, and a few effects. Glad we have SOPHIE to show us what it is really capable of.
best presentation of the monomachine ive seen :) .. and it really makes me happy about how ive been using mine and the diversity im able to get out of it
I just learned about the vrc6 and vrc7 chips used in some famicom carts and I’m realizing that the Monimachine is THE synth for recreating NES, Genesis and obviously C64 sounds 👌
What is the difference between playing and tweaking samples on the monomachine, machinedrum and octatrack? Is there any advantage to the octotrack apart from that it has 8 tracks because I might as well have a monomachine that can do synthesis as well if that's the case. Thanks. Really interesting awesome machines
I love the fact everything on that is so ... sudden. Couple of clicks, knob rotations and you've got something that you could do on computer ... with 20000 mouse clicks :-)
I would most likely purchase an updated/reimagined version, assuming Elektron retains the A4/AR form factor (vs reimagining it as a Digi box). I much prefer the spaciousness and the single-row-of-16 trig layout is easier on my brain.
Hi sir! I have a question, if is not a problem. I have a DSI Evolver, and Virus TI desktop, and i want to buy a MOnomachine or Octatrack to sequence them. What dou you think is better? I prefer the Monomachine, because is a synth, but i have listened that octatrack is better to sequence external gear, is that true? in what way? Thanks in advance! Congrats!
Octatrack is better because it can Plock the ARP parameters, has individual scale lengths and time multiplier for each track and can automate up to 10 MIDI CC values.
Dear sir, I am a beginner in music production, using Ableton live, now I want to buy my first sampler... was going to buy the Elektron Machinedrum, but I just saw this Monomachine (which looks like the machinedrum) so I am a bit confused! Could you please detail what's the difference between both? Thanks a lot.
yo is his name Jasper or jake , aahh fuck it ill call him MR.DataLine Either way , Elektron is dope , only problem i have is which elektron do i buy 1st ? Machine drum iuw+ or machine drum sps-1 ? or Analog 4 ? or octatract ...
puxflux and now they just released a Drum Machine Sampler...boy i can't keep up with Elektron....now i'm un-decided as to what to get now....Sampling does open up a new world of possibility...
+yo ianrhodes they have some nice shirts on their website..expensive too, i love teir machines, i have two..i wish theyd trim the prices a bit though on everything..
This was the machine. What elektron shit out last, I’m talking about syntakt, is complete waste of time and money. Cheap sounding toy for a big chunk of money. Come on elektron, respect already community. Make for us professional devices like Digitakt, analog four, monomachine... what is the last thing? Who need something already exist in form of cycles? I just don’t understand what you was thinking…
Seams no one wants melody or songs or music anymore, just technical and intellectual stimuli. Same thing as the Japanese when they have dolls or machines as girlfriends.
