You can LITERALLY see the change in his eyes as he comes to accept he has to become a monster to be able to get back home. The absolute chills as he talks about the Cyclops with the imagery of the dead sheep, Circe and her injured nymph, the rage of poseidon then Odysseus himself dropping the baby. God this was beautiful!

Singing without seeing his mouth moving is so awesome!!! Made me think of Prince of Egypt and a couple Disney movies

I love this version of Monster because it doesn't have some kind of metaphorical monster shown, it actually shows Odysseus truly choosing to become the monster.

The expressions got me actin up fr, Circe's devestation and Odysseus's deranged smile fuels me. Wonderful animatic

Astyanax's face being blurred out is an amazing touch

The vulnerability in odyssseus’ eyes and how he accepts that he has to become something more than he already is is so loud and I love it soo much <3 with the cyclops, and Circe’s devastation and Poseidon’s cold gaze, ughh it’s all so great!!! I love your animatics sm<33

I have been waiting for this, and I must say… THIS IS AMAZING! I love all of the visuals! I also like that near the end Odysseus starts to get hysterical and you can see how he’s changing as a person! Thanks for making this masterpiece!! ❤

I LOVED THE WAY HE STARTS TO REALIZE HOW IS HE ALSO KIND OF SEEING HIMSELF OF A MONSTER IN THE REFLECTION AND THEN ALSO TURNING RED- like a journey of reflecting himself every decision he had made and will make- THE SKELETONS IN THE END, AAAA! So cool, loved it ❤

The fact that in his flashback it is just an armed Soldier that drops the infant and not a depiction of himself, shows that he cant accept or will not acknowledge the fact that it was him who dropped the infant. But when he accepts becoming the monster and says he would do it again, it is him who drops it, because he accepted this side or the need to be ruthless to get home.

This is the most brutal depiction of this song I’ve seen and I’m all for it! I’d like to imagine that the Underworld is making Ody’s surroundings as he sings about them since it’s a supernatural place during this too. Great work as always!

Why did I feel so emotional upon seeing Circe do her thing..? You know it's amazing when art instills emotion, incredible work!
