It has many inconsistencies, like a lack of feathers in the arms, no thumb claws, wing spikes, different wing design.

That’s crazy cause I actually started with 3U too and my second monster Hunter game was GenU and then I played world now I’m playing rise/sun break that’s crazy

I love how we get information on how Kamura and Elgado are working together and improving each other.

@starbutter2730 you should totally read them, they aren't really spoiler heavy and are a little more silly and fun my favorite detail from one of them was the mentioning of the wycademy from mhgu

Why are people getting so much hyped for Amatsu? How is it better than Alatreon & Fatalis?

@@TheElino This, since Amatsu has only been in 2 games so far, Portable 3rd which has a japan exclusive and GenUlt where not many fought him since it was an optional quest and also since most players entered in gen 5

Yeah, no? Not all of us. A lot of people feel lukewarm about Rise. It's fine if you enjoy it but don't speak for everyone.

Amatsu will be fought in its own arena. So if they dont add an event like narwa vs Elders in base rise, amatsu wont have any other monsters in its area

At most we will get a wyvern ride support in the form of Valstrax. But Amatsu is too huge to be found in normal quests so sadly no opportunities for turf wars Also: Amatsu and Alatreon have interconnected lore in their armor sets in Generations Ultimate, am expecting Amatsu's past with Alatreon to be revealed here

They'll never be in the same area since Amatsu is a super special boi and has his own unique zone

@@r3gret2079 Perhaps, or it could be that it had completely different abilities before its usage of Qurio. More of a side grade due to adapting to this new parasite that normally would have tried to harmed Malzeno before it was able to take control.

@@damiennroddy I don't really think that is likely. Elder dragons are known (at least currently) to not be affected by the frenzy virus. But who knows, I might be proven wrong.

Same here I love monster hunter rise sunbreak and monster hunter as a series

Can decide which would be better the remix for the coolness factor or the original for the nostalgia like with fatalis

They have to give it the frontier phase, they just have to. It’s (presumably) the final title update. It’s what Fatalis was to World. It can’t just be Amatsu, it has to be something big.

Counter-argument: It makes perfect sense to introduce Amatsu now. We learned about Yomogi and Chichae's backstory, especially about how Yagero was partially responsible for saving Yomogi and bringing her to Kamura after his original home was destroyed. The two Storm Serpents are also out of the picture (for now), which creates the perfect time and opportunity for their cousin to return to fill that gap. It allows us, the Flame of Kamura, to return to our home village from our exploits in Elgado, to save it from yet another disaster, one potentially even more terrible than the Storm Serpents. This is why Kagero holds such a grudge against it- he survived having his old home destroyed by Amatsu and doesn't want that to happen again. Plus, Amatsu makes sense as a penultimate boss. I know a lot of people think the opposite, but I don't want to see yet another version of Fatalis or Alatreon again. People will say "Rise is copying World again" if that happens, and really no one will be happy.

Agreed that annoyed me in World. Where I was decked out in augments and MR100+ sets, they had 300 less defense and shit weapons.

to be honest I would have preferred if they were actually redhelm and bloodbath 😅 (not to mention had their armours and weapons)

@@RegenWasTaken I tried old MHseries it was super cool it didn't disappoint me except that time when you flex right after using items but overall it was fun.

@@RegenWasTaken Personally I enjoy rise more. The monsters are more consistently fun for me, with pretty much no bad fights. The game in general is just more fun for me, I'm not into the slow paced gameplay of old gen games personally.

I don't think Malzeno Variant would be in update 5. I think they might do something similar to World where Fatalis was the final boss, but then they snuck in one last update by adding AT Velkhana. So it might be the case here, where Rise will have a TU6 with a Malzeno variant.

@@somerandomdude7785 To be clear, AT Velk was added 2 weeks after the Fatalis update. Now to call that apart of the same title update is kind of up in the air. But the point I'm making is that I dont think EX Malzeno will be released on the same day as Amatsu, but rather later.

​@@Thanatos-VI but Nergi has just been in the previous game. He's really fun to fight and one of my favourites from World but I'd prefer monsters that haven't gotten a gen 5 makeover yet, Amatsu being one of them. The other two that would also benefit from Rise's mobility are Dalamadur and Yama Tsukami, the latter one hasn't been in a game since 2008. But I have to admit that these two were quite low on the likeliness scale to begin with

We just had 2 black dragons in Iceborne and the only other one is Dire Miralis which really can’t work without swimming combat unfortunately, they can probably chill on the black dragon stuff for a bit
