@@aryantzh2028 ...a dragon manipulating ice is pretty magical, but MH has always been more of "there is a logical explanation". Like, ice is explained as a chemical fluid that freezes water vapour, fire is a sac that releases flammable gas, water, is well water, and thunder is a sac capable of producing bio-electricity in high amounts. The only unexplainable things are probably dragon and bioenergy, but other than that, MH will probably never have magic.

Shitty monster to ever exist. She is boring af that she isn’t alatreon type level. She is basic and doesn’t fit into the storyline at all.

If it is her at least no one has to hear or say complaints about sunbreak having another fire monster ........well any elder dragon that wouldn't use fire should be the case to prevent that though I don't really care a monster old or new is just another hunt to me

@@Elyrium42 I remember him being quite easy due to him being slow, maybe if it was buffed and revamped it could even be high tier, a bit like barioth in iceborne where it was exclusive to Master Rank. Oh well in alternative there’s always the mods, they surely would have an easy job seeing how the Garangolm skeleton would fit Gammoth like a glove.

@@Elyrium42 Yeah, realistically we’re a bit too late for monsters like gammoth, personally i am not too excited by the possibility of Velkhana returning, mainly because it feels too immediate, but i am certainly interested in amatsu’s return.

I think the next update will be the last one, I don't think they will extend support for this game beyond mid-year, but I would like the roadmap to be up to the end of the year

It does look nice but I really wish they wouldn't make so many of the armours completely cover the buddies. I spent a fair amount of time designing my Palamute and I don't want to just simply cover her up in an armour that'll make her indistinguishable from another players Palamute wearing the same gear.

@@MonsterSlayerSquad That could be kind of interesting if they broke up the Buddy armour into more pieces, would be quite funny to see what mix and match designs people could come up with (like they do for the hunters).

I hope it is available to me as it said I would need a Capcom ID to enter this campaign to get it. No way I’m making another pointless account to access some stuff and never use the account again. Just be available to Nintendo Switch online players as well and I’m good.

If they add velkhana then i will finaly take sunbrake team for lazy for bringing monster from prevouse game as update and still not added any special or unquie monster (not including narga as is unquie if not comparing to chameleos)

Bruh this should be our equivalent alatreon or safi jivva update. Instead they want to bring Velkhana back so early. I really want to see disufiroa make a comeback but I don’t see it in this update. This could be the worst update to come but hope they might surprise us.

I’m currently assuming it’s not literally just Velkhana, but a Velkhana variant, since most flagships receive variants (Zinogre, Seregios, and Gammoth/Astalos are the current exceptions I can think of). Some of the flagships come soon after the game the monster was introduced in. For instance, Brachydios was introduced in 3U and got a variant in 4U, one game later. And Nargacuga in Freedom Unite got Lucent Nargacuga in 3U. So I expect it to be a variant. If it isn’t though, and is just regular Velkhana, that would be completely asinine and I would be very disappointed.

@@1_vs_1a why? when glavenus was added in iceborne people cheered. Glavenus came from mhG, before mhw. Calling the rise team lazy because you didnt get the monster you wanted is sad. Heck mhw's TU usually just adds 1 monster, 2 if lucky.

The fact that Goss Harag didn’t get a subspecies despite every new Rise monster around its difficulty level getting one baffles me

Kinda hard to give it a subspecies now since the original species is already both it's referenced monsters. The blue oni and red oni. It's not hard to make a monster that goes to red then blue, but if the fight ends up being similar to the previous one, then its impact becomes rather minimal.

I hope so too even though I know we're just going to get Velkhana. So lame. Gogmazios would be so much better. That quest was just ridiculously epic. Not to mention this game need more of those kinds of "siege quests"? Or whatever you call those quests that are like Lao Shan Lung, Jhen Mohran, Shen Gaoren, Gogmazios, etc.

@@JohnCharlesMartinIII Please no Lao or Jhen, those fights were so boring. I'm hype for Velkhana though! They're such a fun fight and a really cool monster, I'm excited to see what they'll do with them. Kind of prefer this over Gogma, Velkhana can actually be found in locales so we could have more than 1 quest with them, as well as being able to find them in Investigations. Gogma is cool, but we'd end up fighting it a few times for gear and then never have a reason to fight it again. Being stuck in one arena like Gogma really reduces the replayability of the fight. Arena fights just aren't as fun for me. Of course, I'm happy with whatever we get and appreciate them for working hard on this free content! I'm not gonna be overly negative, this isn't Twitter after all.

Gogmazios is one of those kinds of quests, and I think this game could use a quest like that for a little more variety. Also, Gogmazios would be just a way better returning monster than Velkhana.

@FrostyTheCookie I didn't mean Lao, Jhen, or Shen, I meant those are "siege quests" or "arena quests" as you put them. Whatever you call them, Gogmazios is one of them. I just think we have enough "locale" type quests. Another "siege" or "arena" quest would add a little more variety. I really liked how some on the team would mostly handle the canons, ballista, binders, dragonators, demolisher. Others would mostly be on the ground going toe to toe with Gogmazios. I thought the fight added another layer of teamwork. I personally thought Velkhana was boring but even if the fight is improved because of the new mobility, why Velkhana? Of all the great monsters from the past, especially now that Frontier is an option.

Meh arc temper monster were lame for me just a dumbd gimmick added. Plus the whole oneshot gimmick was just stupid

@@hinatalovetonaruto Not the point I'm trying to make and no, they were interesting and fun in how they were more seasoned monsters who grew in ability in combat and not just power. Also, the altered gear they'd give was nice was fashion hunting. Also, they gold metallic skin on Namielle.

@@clairblaire8536 the only ones i felt grew in ability was at xeno and namielle, maybe nergy but a big speed boost doesnt exactly count as ability to me.

Probably because they don't want to invest the time and effort for a monster that needs an exclusive massive arena just for it, unless it is new. Also, I saw a video that brought up the fact that those gigantic monsters only appear in games headed by the non-mobile dev team.

I expect title update 5 to be the last major update, BUT there will still be lesser updates. Wouldn't be surprized if they do a promotional update to tease the next MH.

As much as would love dalamadur they haven't done a monster that big since zorah and every giant elder after him has been like the size of gaismagorm with him being the latest so far so I wouldn't hold much hope for the big snake in gen 5 maybe in a later generation like gen 6
