Monster Hunter Rise - The Game Awards 2020 Trailer 

I didn't even mentally register that I had seen a Rathalos until I had read this. Like, I know he was going to be in Rise, because of course he would be, but I'm just so used to seeing him at this point that I kind of just subconsciously glossed over his inclusion.

And I’m happy for it Because we’re gonna get more than our fair share of him in MH Stories 2 Same as before 😂😂😂

I mean there is a possibility of it being a flashback but at this point he's pretty much confirmed as much as I would like a monster hunter game without Rathalos

I had hoped we'd never see it, but alas such hopes shall never be fulfilled.

He is called The King of the Skies for a reason, they’re mostly everywhere in the MH world, they adapt quite well in most biomes

I have but one request. They had better put a super strong fire weapon in this game, because it's ritual now. Lagombi and Ludroth test it out.

That’s because it is the Flooded Forest given a modern rework. Everything from the temple to the giant cave and underwater area leading to it are all shown off.

@@ferro1398 Aztecs didn't really make pyramids like the Mayans did. They copied the structure and design since the Mayans came before their civilization, and they made some pyramids, but nothing on the scale of the Mayans.

Like that in most MH games in every aspect. In Generations, I distinctly remember the Larins in Jurassic Area eating and drinking, and babies nuzzling their parents. Monster Hunter games feel ALIVE and that’s what draws people in.

Considering they are bringing leviathans back they definitely are bringing those two back they are two massive fan favorites or atleast im hoping

In case you didn't know, in this game you'll be able to make the draw attack count as any note you want

More importantly than the draw attack being changed are they bringing the iceborn changes to the hh back or are they scrapping it

You can clearly see the dotted bolt that moves over the ground when you go frame by frame. It's him and I can't wait to see that gruesome body in full its pride!

Tbf mhgu wasn't meant to have cutting edge graphics, it was meant to be a celebration title and also it had way way more monsters and such than mh rise will. Rise is also in a new engine.

I commented about this to my brother last night. The level of detail they put into these titles is overwhelming when you think about how they try to make it fit and balance everything out. I love it.

It's only under rated in the west. It's the biggest game next to Dragon quest in japan. Also it's FINALLY getting popular in the west thanks to world.

I always say this whenever anyone brings up MH, as a veteran myself. The best thing about this series is that the community is some of the best I've ever seen, Old-time veterans aren't rude to new players, (Unlike most other games) and they show the new people how to play the game, and are very kind to them, (one time, I was playing Tri with a new guy before the servers got shut down, and we had the best time) and the best part of our community is, the devs they listen to all of us, and they hear us out on what monsters we want, what bugs we found, and are very open to new ideas if you watched gajinhunter's story on when capcom copyright claimed his monster hunter content, the monster hunter executives said themselves "this man has done more for our community then we ever needed, he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment" and they un-claimed his videos. I'm gonna say it, this game better be game of the year.

Bruh, I've played since world, but I recently started MHU and to my surprise its way better than world even though it's a bit more challenging. Hope to see y'all in rise.

You should play Monster hunter 4 ultimate, it's the best in the series, other then MHW:I, it has a massive roster of monsters and a really neat plot,.

I hated the Flooded Forest, I couldn't see anything in that water. Great Wroggi comeback balances out that con with a pro, though.

Khezu returns. One of my favorite fights, and in my opinion one of the most creative. He can extend himself, which can hit you, but also give a bigger hit box for mounting.

The wyverns are okay. It’s the fact there were no Beasts until Rajang. My friend didn’t believe me when I told her Beast types existed until that update.

Agreed. The Shrine Ruins theme sounded great the first time we got to hear it, the girl singing at the beginning of this trailer is really nice, and now we have a Japanese remix of the Flooded Forest which sounds awesome. So far it looks like Rise is going to have a lot of vocals implemented into its music.

I love the background music when the wyverian twins talk in this trailer. It's absolutely AMAZING. And don't make me start to talk about the song at the start of the video. BEAUTIFUL.

@@chuck7048 I bet the flagship isn’t the root cause but he makes an appearance due to this rampage frenzy event. And we will find out who the real problem child is. Just like with most MH games the flagship is usually not the big bad at the end.

Hopefully this means we will get atleast 100 large monsters in this game!

Surprising how no one is talking about this feature: it's a huge improvement!

Next thing you know, it's dragging a Lagiacrus corpse. Actually, I'm curious as to how big and strong it is. Judging from what it can do, it could potentially be an Elder-Dragon-Leveled Monster. That would be cool, honestly, seeing that there aren't any Fanged Wyverns with the potential to rival Elder Dragons.
