As of now, Rei Dau makes the coolest sounds, Lala Barina is my favorite design, and Black Flame is just overall the coolest aesthetic. Can't wait to play next week then again in February
Im p sure u can play one more time in between, they have two demos so if this is the open beta we can except one more actual demo not beta on dec or jan
Uth Duna doesn't change colors, the lighting just becomes more saturated after the clouds roll away. Uth Duna was always colorful. New tar themed locale gives me hope for Radobaan, my favorite monster.
Even though radobaan fits perfectly in this local. I think his a little too massive and clumsy for a local thats filled with pipes and tight spaces. Also i didnt notice any bone piles in this local.
@@whotfisijinetWhile I do agree with you on the size problems I do think they could just subvert it with a variation that just uses what ever is in the area vs just bones
I highly, highly doubt that Rey Dau will be anywhere close to a fourth hunt. We’d probably clean up most of the plains monster before cleaning up some of the Scarlett’s forests monster, then we take on Rey Dau, similar to World with Rathalos and Diablos.
I have zero expectations that they'll bring back Gogmazios, who was a G RANK hunt anyways. Normally Capcom doesn't bring back G Rank/Master Rank only monsters in a High Rank base game.
My hope is for Seltas and Seltas Queen to show up in Wilds, as their unique "combination" mechanic would be great to introduce players to High Rank hunts.
I really hope we get a gross looking cave type monster but that it’s not revealed. I want to be absolutely surprised by some nasty looking thing in the shadows or a cave.
Capcom continues to impress with the Wilds designs. Fully taking advantage of next gen hardware to fully realize the wildest looking monsters in glorious detail.
A lot of animals in the real world will move in pairs for a while if it’s beneficial to them. Ajarakan could follow something similar. The pack mechanic could also be a pair type of thing too, doesn’t always have to be large groups.
loving the design of Rompopolo, Ajarakan and the Black flame, can't wait for the ice locale and the last locale in what kind of monstrosities will this last 2 biomes contain. by the way, WILDS needs to have something like the Everwood end game where you can hunt returning monsters exclusively as a free hunts.
HOLD IT! Your honor, Lala Barina only has 6 limbs in all the pictures we have seen so far, so i must point out for a spider to be a spider it needs 8 legs, this means by technicality LALA BARINA ISNT A SPIDER
Well yeah, temnocerans always have 6 limbs, they are meant to be spider adjacent but they technically are not spiders, same as how carapaceons only have 4 walking legs
@@kevMB0000 i think what you are referring to is an open world map. I am fine with that, and Wilds is already heading in that direction. Wouldn't be surprised if the 7th generation is 1 giant map with multiple locales. I am fine with the map. But I was talking about 200 to 300 monsters, which is just absurd and not necessary, and it will cause a lot of balancing issues. Do you want them to have 300 different armor sets and weapons? Can you imagine them trying to shove all of that in 1 game? That is simply physically not feasible, and more content doesn't always mean high quality. Also, that's not how game development works, either.
@@RathalosWatch prob a monster we haven’t seen or a returning monster I feel like Doshaguma is the early game skill check like Anjanath and Anjanath was far later in the game
@@NiceSounds-s1b you just might be spitting rn, I can definitely see Dosha being the skill check. I’m already MEGA hyped by the brand new monsters in this game, but also very curious about the returning monsters especially since Arkveld has a similar appearance to Frontier monsters so maybe a few of them will return in the early/late game. This game can’t come any sooner, I want to play it so bad…
I actually think that the black flame will be classified as an elder dragon. Capcom stated that there wont be as many elders but that doesnt mean there arent going to be any. Nakarkos was also classified as an elder dragon. Hiwever it is still possible that Nakarkos was classified as such because he has two dragon like tentacles and was the online final boss from generations. I still believe that the black flame will be an elder
Black flame is so far My strongest first impression of all wilds, Lala barina is cool and uth duna is the fattest score, BUT WATCHING THE APOCALYPSE OPCTOPUS EXCECUTING YOU WITH A DIRECT SIFON FLAME ATTACK is rakna kadaki aprobed move!
Dude! How did you not like the Black Flame! Easily the best new monster. Giant flaming oil flame octopus of burning death! Amazing. They even made it make sense with it using the oil of the basin instead of ink like a normal octopus. I really hope he has some sort of move that costs you in oil and restricts your field of view before blowing you to hell with fire. Also will be interesting to see how he plays when the fire is shut down and it’s the oil period of the period after the burn if he still has access to the fire abilities or if it becomes just hot oil
the devs have apparently confirmed that there will be more monsters at launch in wilds then world which had 36 I say apparently because the only thing I've seen is in Chinese and not translated so I don't even know how true it is.
Of all the monsters shown so far, I think I'm most excited to fight Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Ajarakan, Arkveld, Lala Barina, and Black Flame. I really hope Black Flame ends up being a new monster category instead of being in the unknown category, because I really want one for squids and octopi, and perhaps snails and slugs while we're at it. Considering the oil biome, I hope that means we might see Radobaan since it's kinda covered in a tar or oil like substance. While I don't care for Uragaan at all, I really enjoyed fighting Radobaan back in world and would love to see him back. As for the Swaxe monster, I'm thinking that it could be a moth or butterfly neopteron, or maybe a peacock bird wyvern? It's at least a very beautiful monster like Mizutsune considering the design of it.
I get the feeling the black flame is gonna be an elder dragon because there’s nowhere else to put it. That name gives off serious “we’re gonna use elder dragon as a wastebasket taxon again” vibes too.
I just hope they add more insectoid and beasts like monsters, fighting congalala, (blangonga if we get it) in mhfu those 2 where my favorite and then mh4u narsilica and the satalis queen where some of my favorites
what is funny is that back in august i was playing sunbreak with my buddy and we were discussing that if they were to add a new classification to this came what we would want and i had mentioned wanting some sort of land cephalopod monster type and with the black flame i guess i can say that i predicted it.
Btw some people noticed there some kind of spiderweb on the new locale, and knowing the new locale is a clear reference sunken hollow from mh4u and nerscylla being found in that map, all could be pointing out to her return, which would make sense knowing the big monster leak, maybe the 31th halloween they make a little trailer showing nerscylla's return
@@edwardgabrielsantos idk, but its also the day the demo starts, so maybe they release a small trailer to announce the beggining of the demo, they will probably just repit custences from past trailers and maybe just add a new 5 second segment were you can see nerscylla, but is just an idea I have, they may as well don't do anything and don't show anything else untill game awards
Why does the community want Nerscylla so much? Don't get me wrong, 4U is my favorite MH game, but Nerscylla was one of the weakest entries in the game for me. Especially when compared to monsters like Tetsucabra, Najarala, and Zamtrios.
@@Flaschi2000 my discord punished me earlier this morning. -_- I'll make sure to include him in the next video, LOL. I completely forgot with all the crazy news that have been happening this week.
i think the veil will take bonus damage from projectiles with the lightning element. and that destroying the veils, allows for bonus damage everywhere els till they reforme. might be possible the 5th locale is the ice locale, and like the elders reses, we'll never get to see that one, as a teaser. (CrystalLunae
I think you meant to say the ice is the 4th locale. Because we only know of three right now. 5th might be an elder place or something completely different.
@@RathalosWatch i did mean 5th. the one area we don't get to see. the end game area, it is possible we get ice monsters in the 4th area, but the tundra/icemountain is the 5th area. we probobly get one, but if it's the 4th or 5th we don't know.
OK hear me out...that new oil local is a dark oil swamp that can turn into a blazing volcano similar to the volcanic hollow a monster hunter 4 ultimate map AND the map were nerscylla first appeared so there is a chance nerscylla join the fun in this map she would honestly fit right in especially alongside the mosquito looking brute wyvern
I think Pukei-Pukei will be coming back because I am pretty sure at one of the events, there was a statue of a female hunter in Pukei-Pukei armour next a Seikret statue (At least I think it was Pukei-Pukei armour)
@@RathalosWatch I think I was wrong, looking up the displays online, there is one of the Seikret and one of a male hunter riding a Seikret. Finding images of the displays themselves is hard, so I'll assume it was a cosplayer or something. If I find the original video I saw that made me think this I will update you
I am pretty sure all the bird wyvern use similar skeletons and animations, so that doesn't mean anything unless you sre talking about something else here that I am missing.
I feel like ajarakan looks like a newer species of voljang. I also don't get it when people say it looks like rajang (not saying you did). My friend also says it looks like if rajang and odogaron had a baby, but i don't see it
I doubt we’ll fight Rey dau as the 4th hunt. Like MHW we will likely move onto the scarlet forest and probably another local before we come back to fight Rey dau. Like how the ancient forest apex was Rathalos, but we didn’t fight him until going to all the other locals (except the elders recess) and beating those apex predators first.
Too bad, no news of returning monsters besides rumors or leaks of nerscylla. Whether we wait for new information on the game in the Games Award in December or some special mini trailer on Oct 31, which is Halloween, we still have to.
No new weapon, however , I haven't heard people talk about new elements. Last element that got introduced was with brachydios in MH3 Now we are in gen 6. The last weapon got introduced in gen 4 We need a new element.
@@spiritice2863 that would be a cool idea. However, instead of it being an element by itself. It should be a skill for slashing/piercing weapons. I don't think a new element revolving around bleed would be enough to justify. However if we look into the MH manga, a wind element that causes bleed, would be top tier. And it's an element that could and may allow you to jump / be light on your feet.
Capcom really surpassed himself creating this new Monsters. Their design and abilities are wonderful, fantastic, mythological. So im gonna Say what i think of the ones i like more Cathacabra: It reminds me the son of a garangolm and a deviljho. Nice 6/10 Rey dau: the Golden fighting wyvern, great, the Wing blades and his ability of Channel Energy in his body and use It like a Electromagentic cannon. 8/10 Balahara: cool, It reminds me the graboid from tremors, It really alien and evolved tò the desert. Love It 7,5/10 Lala barina: im scared of spiders but her ability with the silk and flower design, good. 6/10 Doshaguma: ok, i find It a bit ugly but ok, but not sufficient. 5/10 Qematrice: i dont know why but i have a weak spot for this chicken t-rex, his ability with the tail Is really cool. 7/10 Uth duna: the innovative body and design of this leviathan Is really great. 7,9/10 Arkveld: what i have tò Say? Great, bulky but slim, fast but armored, the horned head. And his ability with his bio-chains are fantastic. And his design make him like hes really ancient. Maybe Its because he has an horned head but hes the GOAT. 10/10 Yan-kut ku: nice, a easier version of the purple cousin yan garuga. 6/10 Congalala: fine, its fine. 6/10 Rath duo: Simply Iconic. 9/10 Rampopolo: i was right tò think that he was a creepy Bird. Really scary and Nightmare fuel. 8,5/10 Ajarakan : i love this guy, It looks like he came out from the asian mythology like sun wukong. PS welcome back Voljang. 8,7/10 Black flame: a Kraken with Tar and furious flames? Oh yeah 9/10
