We use our local Farmers Ins agent in Superior, Buffy Kelly Ins. Homeowers is about $800. If we decide to rent it out, during the times we are not there, the cost is about $1800. Then we have to use a company that Farmers owns called Foremost. Not exactly sure why. Let me know if you have any other questions.

We are not defined by the material things we have we have to much. We are judge by who we are as a person. When we retire if we don't have all the stuff it gives us time to really enjoy our free time to choose what we want to do. @@retirementwithpete9859 you know, since your front porch is covered you could probably put a few jacket hooks on the outside wall on your porch. Then you could hang a few coats out there. like a rain coat when it's raining so you don't have to bring it in the house. It might not be the best place to keep your winter coat though BRRR lol.

Hi Mary. Thank you for the nice comments. The park limits the number of owners who can stay all through the winter months, to minimize the wildlife impact. But if you want to enjoy the Montana winter, you can live there year round. We would love to see a fresh snowfall, from the porch. Just not sure I want to feel the sub zero temps🥶. Have a great day!

Good morning Eric. Thank you for the nice comments. The damage costs were covered by RRC and Platinum. Since we were so far from Texas, they asked us to provide cost estimates or receipts for the repairs. Then they reimbursed us. With no questions!!😉 That says alot about a company! They could prevent alot of the damage by installing metal sheeting or plywood above the tires. I would have paid extra for that, if I had known there would be that much damage. Hi Barbara. Thank you! We are in Shyrock Motorcoach and RV Park. Its just outide of Superior, Mt. Our property butts up to the Lolo Nationa Forest. It truely is beautiful. We are very fortunate.

Hi there. This is a very popular question, which we dont mind answering. We custom built this home, through Recreational Resorts and Cottages, in Rockwall, Tx. They are a distributor for Platinum Cottages out of Marlakoff, Tx. The home cost $91,000, that includes about $20,000 in upgrades. The shipping from Marlakoff, Tx. to Superior Mt. was $21,000. The metal skirting was around $5,000. Electrical and plumbing hookup was about $1500. So about $118,000. Next up is the landscaping🙂.

Hi Carol. That is a very popular question. The home was $90,200. And we paid $21,000 to ship it 1800 miles from Texas to Montana. We looked for closer manufacturers, but they all seem to be located in Texas or the midwest. Im going to put out a video showing all our costs and the process we went through. It all went very smoothly. Except for the damage that occurred during shipping. And yes, all the damaged has been repaired. And the manufacturer reimbursed us the costs!!! Good morning! The trip from Texas to Montana was not cheap! And filled with alot of challenges. The cost was $21,000, back in the spring of 2022. It took 19 days😳. Alot of weather and high wind delays. We learned not to ship anything over the plains and the Rockies during the spring😄. And, by law, they had to stay off the Interstates, as much as possible. We had 6 tire blowouts. And the driver had a medical emergency half way through the trip. The home sat outside of Denver for a week, waiting for a replacement driver. It was crazy! But it finally arrived, with a little bit of damage from the blowouts, and flying rocks. But it was well worth it. We have a 2nd lot in the park, and are toying around with the idea of doing it again. We ordered the home sight unseen. But RRC makes the process so easy. Our salesman was Jeff Edwards. Wonderful person and so professional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend him. The home really is built very well. The finish was spot on!! You cannot go wrong buying a tiny home from RRC! The park is called Shyrock Motorcoach and RV Resort. It is a couple miles outside of Superior, Montana. Stunning location! Our backyard butts up to the 6 million acre Lolo National Forest. The lots are 1/3 or 1/2 acre in size. 200 amp power pedestals, sewer and water are included in the lot price. Plus your 16'x50'x6" concrete rv pad and a 300 sq ft concrete patio. And the 12'x60' blacktop driveway, up to the pad. Owners get access to the lodge and pool. The lodge is amazing. All the lots are individually owned. HOA's are $600 a year. That includes your water, sewer, garbage and snow removal. CC&R's are what you would expect at this level of a resort. And it is a 3 season park. They do allow 15% of the owners to stay through the winter, but Montana can be a little on the "cool" side during that time. 🥶. And alittle insider information for you, so dont tell anybody😄...
