He was a music star who left stardom to become a minister and she was originally his manager at Def Jam Records.
Their love story took many twists and turns but together they survived years in the music industry, infidelity, financial stress, the loss of a child and even loss of faith.
Now they are ready to share their relationship survival story with all.
Montell and Kristin Jordan stop by Good Day Atlanta to discuss their new book "This Is How We Do It:: Making Your Marriage a Masterpeace".

I've seen other pictures of her and in those she looked like what the public wouldsay is " more of his type" . I too was surprised at how "simple" she looks. I think the hair style and glasses ages her. I'm not saying that she doesn't look good but just more conservative and her look gives off librarian vibes to me. She must be a good woman to have stuck by him all these years, considering the rumors and maybe they are true (I don't know ) but him cheating multiple times. May God bless their marriage.

They could be goals to a couple who has experienced what they did and they are showing how they over came it. How to forgive and move forward. I personally do not look ok at other relationships and say “they’re goals.” I totally get what you are saying but do believe “some” people are looking at them and witnessed a couple turn to God and overcome those things that could have possibly broken their marriage.

Most relationships are short lived.Its good to see couples that care enough to work at holding their marriage together.All relationships have challenges; most don't survive. Isn't it better to survive a committed relationship than to survive numerous failed affairs.
