To think that she also recorded one of the best Salomes on disc yet here at almost 50 years old can scale her voice down to the most sublime pianissimo is hard to comprehend. On a personal note, I found her to be THE nicest prima donna I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. She truly loved her public and we certainly loved her.
