The Crucifixion skit from Monty Python and the Life of Brian I do not own any of this material it's all courtesy of Monty Python at / montypython . I only upload these videos because i'm tired of all the shitty quality ones on youtube.
The best thing about this scene is Palin - his reactions to Idle and Gilliam's carry on are absolutely priceless. Palin was a magnificent actor in his own right.

@@aunthaumv3711 well obviously he cloned himself and had two extensive facial surgery sessions to look like Palin and Gilliam so he could perform in the movie. But seriously, you don't know the connection between Harrison and this movie?
@@Kris.G well, i just thought that was a very random thing to say. I may or may not have read about george being connected to monty python. But i honestly dont remember cus my beatles phase was some time ago and i truly was completely clueless. Anyways after i read ur comment I did do some digging. Apparently he produced it and even had a cameo in this.
The Pythons consider Life of Brian to be their best film as production was less stressful, as well as the film having a central theme and a complete story
Monty Python were many years ahead of their time! There is an accurate underlined message behind every funny scene! They make you laugh by criticizing by their own unique way! How brilliant! I wish modern comedy also was like this! Respect!
Just realized that this bit probably inspired Eddie Izzard's "Cake or death" and most likely Terry Pratchett's "Hello sir, I will be your executioner today."
they were just so brilliant, cant be topped. incredible writing and they always came across as such highly intelligent stupidly charismatic wonderful chaps was well...
How the fook any of them kept a straight face whilst idle was stuttering is totally beyond me either they were total professionals who could ignore it or it took about 150 takes to get it coz I was in fookin stitches 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Palin said about this character "The centurian, he's from Rome, nice liberal parents. He's been sent to this god-awful part of the world where it's all hot and people are sort of revolutionaries. And so it's just wonderful he says "Well that's marvelous, thats great!"" I like the extra background he gave to the character here.
