***** So much better sounding than the Voyager but the Voyagers are affordable.I also prefer the memory banks for patch storage. I spend more time playing than tweaking with things. The sound of the model D sounds more ALIVE, COLORFUL, and WARMER. I find the Voyager somewhat Cold and Harsh and almost annoying. I wish that Moog would have reissued a replica of the original model D but with memory banks, CV GATE and Midi....oh...and an ARPEGGIATOR!!!

***** yes both are great synths but agree not similar in sound and concept.

***** The modulation possibilities with the Voyager make it a more powerful creation tool. D's sound wet and meaty - and dangerously electric - almost fizzy. But the Voyager is a great tool as well.
