Hello Discerning Pen Friends,
Today we narrow our gaze to take a good long look at the Moonman T2, a pen that one might generously say has some of the technological elegance of the T-1000... though on a more humble scale. Indeed, my "rose gold" or "copper" version of the T2 went the way of the T-1000 at the end of most (all?) of the movies in the franchise.

Interesting. Another reviewer (Doug Rathbun?) routinely replaces Moonman nibs, since he hates them. I still want one, based on the name alone. MOON MAN!

Another great video, especially in regards to the history of the design of the pen. Also, I hope your move goes well and I’m sure the Van guy would’ve enjoyed seeing you review a fountain pen 😂👍🏽

Good review of another knock-off. It was good that you warned us about the deficits in the design. Not my kind of pen anyway.

I had to change my grip to counteract the slippery section. So I found a way to use it and be fairly comfortable, but still lost interest quickly. It was kind of the same deal with the T1, except I put some electrical tape around that grip section to make it easier to hold.

@@PandaPenClub oh man, believe me, I totally understand, lol. The nib on my Moonman wancai really upset me one day and I just smashed it in to the pad of paper. That nib is now a fork, and I kept it as a warning to the others, haha. Besides, like my dad always said: If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.

To me few things are more uncomfortable than a slippery section in a fountain pen. I never used my Montblanc Starwalker for that exact reason, it was to the point of getting arm cramps.

Not so much a “heart” as “shared commiserations” - I have been intrigued by the appearance of the Skywalker so thanks for the head’s up. Doubly painful when a pen like that isn’t doing it for you, I would think!

@@PandaPenClub thank you. Starwalkers are beautiful pens but I found them to be very particular. They are thin with a very slippery section and a weird balance to them. Try one if you have the chance and use your trick to find the sweet spot and you'll see what I mean in a couple of seconds, either that or you'll fall in love with it. It's was painful to come to the realisation that they aren't for me, what made it worse was that after I sold them (I had a fountain pen+rollerball set) my wife told me she really liked the rollerball. That was truly heartbreaking to me if I had known it I would've given her the rollerball.
