I love a good hotdog! And I like some spice. Moore's Country Store has a tree growing up through the roof. That is a cool roadside by its self. Eating a hotdog from this store seems to be a when in Rome moment for sure! Thank you sharing this gem. Happy Easter my friends.

I prefer the brown (beef) hotdogs but here I eat the red ones because that is what they have always had even though you can get the brown now.

I grew up eating at Moores country store. I didn't know that they sold all of the other stores I thought that they still owned Thomas Terrace market.

They only kept the original location. I used to stop by Thomas Terrace if I was just getting a hotdog. But now I just got to the original because I know the chili will be fixed correctly. Thanks for watching. ❤️ Moore’s

@vafunseekers Thomas Terrace market does more than just hot dogs now they also do the barbecues sandwiches and they also do fries chicken and the potato wedges fron there are awesome and they also have other sides to with the chicken if you would like to get a chicken dinner. The there is great.

Next time you guys come down to northeast tennessee....find a Pal's fast food restaurant....they have really good hot dogs and hamburgers...small menu but great food!

We actually did a review of Pal's earlier this month. We all had hamburgers/cheeseburgers. I'm some kind of crazy over their fries. lol We will definitely have to try a hotdog next time. Delicious food and quick service! Thanks for watching and commenting.

I wish I lived closer I would love to try a burger . We use to have a pharmacy that was called QRS in my home town in Ky where I was born and raised . Those were the best burgers in the world . I can’t explain it the smell when you walked in was so delicious and I have been searching for that same burger taste after it closed it was in business for 30 years. Those burgers reminded me of the QRS Burgers ! I love Mom and Pop places and y’all always show the best places ! Thanks for taking me along again I always feel like I’m right there at your table !!! This place is great! One of my favorites. They have a great burger and they serve them up different ways. Of course I really liked the burger at the Burger Bar, which is a little bit closer to you. I agree Mom and Pop places are the best. Glad you came along! Happy Easter!

You definitely don't want to try the original chili then. David says the slaw is really good and the mild chili too. He can't handle spicy food so he use to always get very light chili up under the slaw. Now he gets the mild chili and is able to enjoy it. They really do have good food. These roadside restaurants are the best. That’s really cool and unique that they kept the tree and built the store around it. The chili Looked sooo good! The chili dogs looked good. Do the red hot dogs taste any different than regular ones - we’ve never tried one before. We would love to see y’all review a Gold Star Chili or a Skyline Chili coney dog sometime.

Everyone knows the store by the tree. lol The food here is always outstanding. You can count on it being delicious and hot. It's nothing fancy at all but it is good food. It's funny that you ask about the taste of the red hotdogs, which are Jesse Jones hotdogs. We actually don't use the Jesse Jones hotdogs at our house due to it having red dye. Martinsville Speedway also uses them and they are known for their hotdogs as well. They taste like a regular hotdog, especially with the toppings. We usually buy an all beef hot dog in the store. My sister loves the red hotdogs and whenever we have a cookout we usually have to have both. lol I've been wanting to try a Skyline Chili. Do you prefer Gold Star Chili or Skyline? Hello, I see how you would think the hot dogs are Jesse jones, however they actually aren’t. They are also made by Moores as well as the chili and slaw. In addition to that, we do also sell all beef and all turkey hotdogs.

Just shy of 100 years in business. Wow. I appreciate the history information you give, too. This is definitely my kinda place. Simple scratch-made foods. So inexpensive! I would have to try all of the items y'all ordered. Especially the Chicken & Dumplings. I'd have to always order 2 hot dogs. One mild Carolina slaw & one hot the way Cindy orders. I love the spice! 😂

You know if a place has been in business that long they are doing something right. I love mom & pop places. It's our kind of place too. Nothing fancy but really good food. I didn't try Carly's chicken & dumplings but she enjoyed them. They made them there so I'm sure they were good. It would be a good idea to try both of the chili's. I don't know what specific spices are in the chili. I just know it is the best that I have ever eaten. Of course this is my opinion but they are very popular. The original is made with ground turkey and the mild is with beef. When we say it's spicy it is definitely hot. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

You know I love that chili! We were there last night and that is when we videoed the menu. David is a fan of chili beans as long as they are not spicy. You can get a beef hotdog from there now. Have you ever tried a hamburger there?

Looks like a hidden. gem, Cindy's chilli looked legite, but probably to spicy for me, Those dogs are really red.Davids chilli . more my style. Carly's dumpling looked creamy and thick, the way it should be. Prices very reasonable too. You guys have a great Easter. And remember God is good 🇺🇸

You would definitely have to get the mild. Before they started making the mild David would get very light chili on his hotdog. Once when they delivered the hotdogs to our table, they automatically thought David had the extra chili on his hotdog. I only know that I absolutely love these hotdogs. It's all about the chili. That's what makes it my favorite. Sometimes I pick up the chili and have it when I have a cookout. I'll put a "hot" warning on it but some people just don't believe it and find out the hard way. lol Thanks for watching and commenting.
