Oh I can feel the cold from here! I get the impression that there was a lot of wheel slip correction getting this train on the move and lots of crackling from the pantograph on this cold morning.
Actually, there wasn't very much wheel slip, as the two locos only had to pull 19 loaded wagons from Mora plus 4 empty wagons from Leksand. :) But it sure was some nice "fireworks" from the pantographs.
End of the line.... the loco has broken down.... I had that a few times myself, so I feel your frustration. It looks mighty cold out there to start walking to protect your train for an assisting locomotive. Presumbly, you place detonators on the rails like we do in UK.... Retired driver, 41 years' service... Retired December 2018.... Not really missing the job either
@@bigcasey4143 Luckily enough, I had a locomotive in the rear of the train with a colleague who was travelling home, he was able to push the train into Borlänge. No, we don't use detonators. Thats nice. I will retire in 2053 if I work until I'm 65.
Bedankt!
@@DeZweedseMachinist oh okay ... and I think Sweden is a super beautiful country, I have been there a lot, but in southern Sweden Växjö and älmhult if I had the means I would have left the Netherlands for northern Sweden a long time ago
