I have been unscripturally expelled from the JW org; and I was a faithful Christian, ex-Bethelite, ex elder for 14 years. I feel your pain Michelle; as we're cast into this moral "vacuum" between those that love the world and themselves; and those that love our God Jehovah. I have never "left Jehovah" as a DF'ing announcement implies! And I'm sure you haven't either. I frequently read Psalm 91 from beginning to end, as one of my favorite texts showing that God is with those who seek Him, and despite human appearances, puts us under His figurative "Wings". "For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name."" Hebrews 6: 10 And "God is not far off from each one of us,"........and context at Acts 17: 27.

@@connormusic9274 thank you so much for sharing these scriptures. I never really learned how to pray to our FATHER. I felt awkward so I gave up for years. Because of thinking the jw's were in all ways in the beginning what I thought were GODS people, and then shocked at seeing the actual truth, I ran as far as I could from all religions not knowing what or whom to believe. I've been isolated for a long time because of my feelings of my worthlessness and utter confusion. It is a terrible feeling and I still to this day struggle with it. I know it's a feeling not sent from GOD, and I pray continually about it. I truly believe that the jw's pray on ones like myself that are weak because of so many internal struggles. I believe that GOD our father, our Creator is working with me, and will be a process. I feel blessed for sure.

I went full blown apostate in 1997. I started hanging out with old friends that had been df'd and apparently someone saw me shooting pool with them and blew me in around 3 years later. Coincidentally I had been posting on a very old JW "reform" message board and posted a pic of me and my new sports car and that's when the elders called me in. I brought my df'd friend with me and they asked what's he doing here. I told them he's here as my witness to testify that we never ever see or spend any time together lol. They didn't think it was funny.

Oh my! I missed that. My wife commented that the time didn't go with his suit, and we've noticed how well dressed they've all been lately as if they've hired a professional wardrobe consultant, so the tie seemed like a fail, but now I get it.

Watchtower’s GB do indeed run ahead of the teachings of Christ!! Two disgusting breaches of Jesus’s words contained in scripture are: 1. The campaign to push the date for the end of the world as 1975 in direct contradiction of Christ’s own words at Matthew 24:36! 2. The announcement that Christ is only mediator of the 144,000 and nobody else! Another arrogant contradiction to several scriptures including Jesus’s statement at John 14:6 ‘ no one comes to the Father ECXEPT THROUGH ME’, and the apostle Paul’s statement at 1 Timothy 2:5,6 “ ONE mediator between God and men, a man Christ Jesus.” Watchtower has become apostate in these teachings as well as many more manmade policies that have nothing to do with pure worship of the Creator, but everything to do with exalting the GB above all else!

I grew up in a JW family our late father was an elder. He had 11 children and always encouraged us to go to college 8 of 11 are college graduate and our children are college graduates as well

Yes its a peculiar state of mind actually , that you can be friendly and all one day then on the say so of the "leadership" , you cannot even speak to the said person .. anywhere. Even as I was a JW for some 35 yrs, but now faded, this was the one policy I would not countenance or adhere to.
