Thank you, sir. For the steady hum of machines working. It was a very nice distraction from the cancer pain. I hope others enjoyed it as much as I did. 👍
The fire was burning hot chris and its turning out really nice thanks for taking the time to film 🎥 for us all to watch from around the world 🌎 🙏 😀 👍 And can't wait until you and MR DIRT PERFECT work on the off road truck.
I love the 6, its just a work horse of a dozer and a solid performer, you have yourself probably one of the premier dozers on You Tube sir, The others would be Dirt Perfect’s 850J and Dirt Daddy 953, the 953 and his D6H. Hope to see Betty back in action soon, thats another good one. Thanks for the ride along sir.
That is really going to be something when it is done. Will be nice to get the seals done on the truck and maybe your lockers too. Always interesting to see you and DP work together. Thanks for sharing.
It will be a good thing having DP assist you with the wheel seals when he comes down to your place. He seems to have a good handle on the haul trucks you both use. Will be good for pointers on any other issues you have with truck! Also, must be real aggravating to start out with a full push on the D6 only to have half of the crap fall to the wayside when it catches on something. You do a damn good job, love your stuff!!!
Two things are for sure, that dozer is much quicker pushing the trees up but it’s much more difficult for you to grab loads with the excavator to put in the fire. And you’re absolutely correct, that pine looks like a pain in the ass to burn.
Looking forward to you and DP working together .. .even if it's repairing worn/broken toys... He learned how to do it on his own... so he should know what to do with yours... Loved the smoke/cloud from the fire.. Pine needles will hold the dew and rainwater.. out side off that.. the limbs themselves burn like gasoline. Whether they be fresh cut or even still standing.. got to watch first hand a little too close to home.. (you can look up Waldo Canyon Fire and Black Forest wild fires in the Colorado Springs area... )
Smoke signals to Dirt Perfect on arrangements for the next few days! Gosh you are so good at what you do - just looks great - welcoming to the owners. Great video too.
Clearing and burning takes time but absolutely worth having usable land. Going to be beautiful place to have homesteads. Looks amazing. Thank u for video!!! God's blessings and be careful.
It's approaching winter, surely your friend Charley knows where you can get a different cab for the D6 and put in some heat and A/C. See how easy it is for folks to spend Your money.
Fire consumed a lot of brush and trees today. Project looking great, and coming along nicely. The monster dozer moves a LOT (mountain) of brush. What a beast.
More Burning to do and the Dry Pile is getting smaller indeed ! Dozer Grating while the Fire in burning down ! More Stone for the Driveway and more Progress - its really Shaping Up ! Great Video again and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Some of that wood wants to get up close and personal! The outside-the-cab view shows how really big those piles get when you are pushing them towards the burn pile. I sometimes forget that when you say brush it’s really good-sized trees your are talking about! 👍👍
Chris you should put your go pro on the bucket and raise it all the way up and scan the job that your working on that would be Kool. That place is looking so good I can't believe it you are the best at what you do. What you invison when you're working is just amazing, I just don't have the words to say how great of a job you do just perfect
Good late evening from South Africa Chris 🙂 Maybe I missed what will be happening on this large piece of ground other than the house ? Looking forward to your next pond whenever it may be
What you have talked about in your past videos about stuff that used to start more fires to burn up the Small trees and limbs is that the ones that are ( fat wood is the pine stumps you're referring too ) love your RU-vid channel keep it up even if you don't see my likes they do not stay in because I do not have good Wi-Fi or cell phone signal working on it though fire... it... up... fire... it... up... Yay bonfire🔥😜 wow would you look at that pretty colors wolfff...
Hell Yeah, Burn up what you can Chris !! It has really come together over last couple videos, I believe you can get what's left bladed over and and ready like the other side, with no problem !! Still a good amount to get burned on up But, you'll get it..... Looking nicer all the time, will be out of there soon... Great as always Man !! Have a Great Weekend, And Evening !!, And, On too the Next !!
Well, nex day I finally finished watching this awesome episode of Chris pushin' dirt, grading a gravel driveway and piling a burn pile. Definitely never boring. I hope he lets us see how The Beastly Betty is doing. She's gonna be a serious help grading moving dirt, clearing and grading.
I have a question. We will be getting a new graveyl driveway put in for our new home build. Is underlayment a needed or unnecessary item. We are building very budget consciously but want the road to last. Thanks.
Chris is it worth putting a shaker under the bed of the Truck for clearing the dirt out of the truck???? see if DP thinks its worth doing l8tr down the track. Great Vlog :)
Thanks for this video. I was amazed when I first saw you dig a deep pit and (Borrow?) then start a fire in the pit and push debris on top. Where I lived and worked there was no chance of doing that as the soil on the island wasn't deep enough. Locals call the island "(the rock").
Found if you pile em up and leave them twenty years it makes rich black soil. Grandpa grow a hill of it and when bulldozed down it was three foot deep over two acres grow any thing and still does. Just takes time lol one for your kids future.
A Wonderful frosty Morning, no Wind but Sunshine. A Day for make Fire and the great Direktion to Work have You Planing. The Dump Truck to Cover, Gravel delivery to a Driveway to Work up and the great to Cut down Areal grading. A gigantic Work efficiently have You make this Day. Congratulation.
Close to the finish line. [31:07] Excluding those who drift the corners, maybe add more stone to the inside sweep of the driveway, for to lessen the apparent degree of traffic calming, of the chicane. ??
Chris, after watching one of your lot clearing videos sometime back (it may have been the Beally farm), I got to thinking about an idea that might make your raking operation I bit more fuel efficient. Bear with me for this idea description, it makes more sense in diagram form. As you make your first long pass, drop your load, make a turn at the end wide enough to fit maybe three or four blade widths and then start back parallel to the first track pushing/raking the opposite direction. When you get to the starting line, drop the load and turn back toward the start run. Turn parallel next to it and rake again in the same direction to the far end. Repeat and then rake parallel on the far side of the return path. Repeat until you fill in the gap, then reverse the pattern for the next patch. Your pattern will have 3 or 4 rakes in one direction followed by twice that in the opposite direction and repeated until the end. It will give you debris partial rows at both ends, but your dozer work is more efficient in the large area. I used to do this kind of pattern when mowing a large tract to avoid those annoying narrow strips if you just start in the perimeter and run ever shrinking circles. Is the description understandable?
