I know static thrust tests aren't the exact metric to base motors on. But, if for whatever reason you were, it looks to me like the 1404 is better than the 1603.

Which leads to believe that 1404, while outwardly being quiet efficient with 4 inch low pitch props, are subtly under-torqued for them to be reaching rpm sweet spot.

Geil Kremer 😉 Cool music as well.

I'm getting the 2105.5 2800kv motors and running 6s on an ultralight build I'm a bit worried it may be super overkill

I am interested if this motor fixes the yaw wobbles in windy conditions.

Hi friend! Does this motor fits a Zero Airplane with70cm wingspan with 280gr weight? If not, would you recomend any Aeolus for me please? Thank you!

Very confused on how 1404 made more power on 15v over 16v ?? 16v even showed higher rpms.

These are kind of intriguing if you were to use say, the 4525 gemfan props on a really light frame.

Interesting stator size. HGLRC motors have been really reliable in my experience. I use a lot of their 1407-3600 Flame motors.

Kabab recommend me a 1604 for a very light 4" freestyler but there were none at the time

@@marc_frank I'm still using good old 1507s on my Roma F4 and they work great, but 1603 are probably more efficient.

Gonna try a sub150g 5 inch build with this 1603

What would be the reason for that current signal is more noisy with the 1404 vs 1603? eg: 10:25, but seen at other steps and test runs ... the 1404 have much higher amplitude of current noise, which translates into variation in output power. I'd assume same test rig and ESC used, so difference likely with motor. Perhaps motor vibration, or propeller induced vibrations (mechanical, or aerodynamic ... but thinking more likely electrical-mechanical as occurs at various rpm values)

Fantastic testing and comparison, Gal! 😃 Pretty interesting results indeed! Those motors seem to be the way to go! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Can 1603 run on 2S 18650 with 4" props (bi-blade) with AUW 215grams? Is it underpowered?
@KremerFPV
@KremerFPV 2 года назад
It will be underpowered.

@@KremerFPV Than how one guy managed to fly 2S 18650 on 4" 1404? I thought 1603 can do same, if not better, because has nearly same stator volume and weight.
@KremerFPV
@KremerFPV 2 года назад
@@brezovprut4431 I guess it depends on the setup. If you keep it really light it might be possible. Do you have a link to the video?
