Great news about the grant! I had a feeling it would come through. Packing is very a huge stress! Especially when you have built up a lot of stuff. We are getting ready to move 2000 miles for grad school and my wife keeps saying I need to cut back on what I take. She always suggests the books, but I am a history major and I love my mini-library!

Congratulations on the grant!! I’m planning on applying this year to a doctorate program overseas ( England and I’m from chile, but studied my masters at Columbia university) and would love to know how the grant application works, the bureaucracy behind it and everything!

It depends what you are interested in- you could become a teacher at any level of schooling, or a career in public history, or working in museums if that is your interest
