I have followed Alliance since they first came out with them. I'm glad to see Bish is involved with them. The Ally family is real! I ran across a small group of campers boondocking in SD, while I was horsecamping and trail riding in the area. They had all met at an Alliance rally and started traveling together. It was pretty cool!
Point to ponder as to what the builder was thinking. At 5:30, you can see the kitchen sink counter area is almost directly up against the recliners. I don’t know about anyone else but when I am washing dishes water gets everywhere. I would think that would be a good place for a small backsplash just to keep things on the countertop and not falling on the couches.
I completely agree this gets a grade of “A-“ for sure. My only change I would make remove the sofa under the camp side window and install a desk. Thanks you big nerd.
Massive solar package option and put a generator on it.. That is sweet. I still say towable. Than stop for a few months before moving on for another few somewhere else. Very nice rig.
To address the access to the frig while the slides aare closed I would make the table hinge up and out of the way. Just put a lock to keep it down when in normal use. Otherwise this unit nails it, very nice.
I'm very impressed with your info..plus Alliance..too big my 1/2 ton!! 😀 love layout for someone who is camping one place for weeks or longer..with 👪 just my husband and me like the minnie you showed this am it's 3/15 today.. Uncle Josh. Your laugh is infectious:)
Seems like a good park model to me that happens to be towable if you want. That storage in the half bath would be great for the linens for the guest beds.
Wasn't sure I would like it, till I seen the inside and it was instant love it. Love the lay out, colors, upper deck and the hide away half bath. So cool.
Great job as always Josh,Awsome rig, great for full time, what a awesome home to come back to!!! LoveJosh,he always tells you exactly how it is and how it is not. This man is a blessing to all new Rv ers!!!
Josh... we did decide to get one of these (sorry we couldn't buy it from you) and it is our full time home now. We love this floor plan and we agree with you that it is a great camper to make stationary. There are a few things we would change but not many. It's been two months and we are working out some kinks, but overall the space is great and we do love it. Your video really helped us with out decision and we appreciate your great content.
Thank you for sharing! I hope it treats you well! Would you be willing to drop me a quick review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review in return for the helping hand?
I love the Floorplan layout.. it would be great if the corner cabinets had like a lazy Susan, or a second access door to them. Is there a mount on exterior for entertainment?
Close to perfect! Love the separation of the floorplan with multiple areas of comfortable seating and the nice contrast of the darker furniture, the 12V fridge and standard solar, the 1/2 bath with a real fan, and the BIGGER fan and 1 sink in the main bathroom👍👍👍
Hey Josh, we are a couple just kicking the tires and dreaming about a trailer we might buy one day. But I just wanted to say, all along I thought your content was a voice-over. It wasn’t until this video when I saw your reflection, you do it all live. Very impressive! Thank you for all you do. Love the good with the bad.
A few things we didn't think we would like or use but we actually do... The cubby in the bedroom works well for a weather radio and an iPad charging place. The closet clothes hamper actually is nice to have. And, the corner garbage door in the kitchen is actually handy. We found a very tall and skinny trash can on Amazon and it takes 30 gallon trash bags. I find myself only having to dump trash a couple of times a week. I am curious (and concerned) about that space in the winter when it gets cold. We'll see what happens, but overall those odd features are pretty great.
Well since you brought it up I am aware of someone leaving with a brand new 5th wheel and had the water tank fall down as they left the dealership. It does happen!!!
Generally like front living room 5thers since the living area is not dominated by the giant islands, this achieves the same result. Would be a great destination trailer for full time.
Amazing RV. Though I would like to see a desk where the door-side sofa is. Front bath is phenomenal with the nose walk-in closet. The Integrated laundry hamper is just the chef's kiss. Also a you delivered a good bit of knowledge about the ducted vs direct AC units. Makes me wonder if the RV industry might someday adopt a micro-split AC system. The Compressor/Condenser unit could be low profile in the belly (like some bus body ACs are) with ceiling cassettes inside. You'd get the performance of direct fire plus quieter operation of a ducted system. You'd also end up with a lower roof profile.
This would be a nice one to use as an ADU when I visit my daughter. I think I would pull this with a used HDT and then would not have to worry about pulling capacity and stopping power....
How about that! Only 1 sink in the Master Bath! SMART! We would lose the table for another chair or futon. ( but keep the dining chairs) Like the camp side windows! Nice sink. Shut off valves are keen. Command strip and a hair band hold up the flip up doors in the slide, comes time to sell...peel-no muss no fuss.
Gorgeous! If we go with a fifth wheel for our retirement camper this one hits all the check marks! BTW, hope your head is OK Josh. Looks like you punked your noggin good. 🥺
Wow nice! Beautiful RV. Massive though. I'm not a 5th wheel fan, it just isn't the kind of RV that I prefer. I don't usually watch 5th wheel videos, they are generally the same layout to me. Not this one. This is a great layout. It really does feel like a home, it just needs the personal touch. And an area rug. I love the vanity in the bathroom. 1 sink in the center with plenty of space on either side. The duel windows and medicine cabinet placement is beautiful, very pleasing to the eye.
The missing grab handle would be a weird inconvenience that I would need to find a resolution to. I am not a fan of overhead cabs that do not have struts to hold them open... again inconvenience I would find a solution to. Everything else is perfection. Would those inconveniences stop me? Nope. Thank you for your work. Love the walk-throughs.
This thing is insane, lol! 😜👌 Totally agree, you could live in it for the long-haul. It's beautiful. Will say though that the many slides would make me a little nervous - that at least one might go kablooie at some point. Is it safe to say that they have manual override cranks? Just curious. Thanks Josh :)
I would have completely loved this unit if the fridge was where that side cabinet is in the slide and just put counter and cabinets all the way across the back. Move the table and chairs down because we don't need that much seating for the living room
Does the dining table fold down? If it does you should be able to get to the kitchen in road mode. It would also stop it from digging into the chair when the slide is closed.
Not sure I need such a wide shower - would prefer to figure out a way to have a good shower - a dedicated space/“gas closet” for the toilet - I’d give up some closet and vanity to pull that off
I really love this design. As a FTer, I especially appreciate having the half bath. The RK is super nice, but I wonder about the dishes & small appliances getting bounced around too much & risking breakage? (Nice Manford Mann reference, btw!)
First of Josh, this RV honestly does feel more like a home. What I would do with that extra outlet in the cubby is maybe put a modem and router so I could get internet (if that is possible). Keep up the good work.
This would be cool if we had friends 😂 Fortunately we don't because this rig is way too big and expensive for us 😁 No cup holders? I guess that's classy. It is beautiful, though!
How loud are the direct dump air conditioners. I have a small camper currently with one and it’s stupid loud. Have to where head phones to hear the tv. Can you get decibel reading on the different air systems in campers??
Most commonly needed items to access can be reached via the drop panel in the front pass-thru. They are adding access panels for things like slide overrides in the belly
you know how warm air goes up and cold air settles down on the floor? is there a way to trap warm air in the master bedroom? sometimes i see the door or slide door entering the master bedroom to have a gap both on the bottom and top
Hello Uncle Josh 👵🖑! I'am so happy to give you the "Didi seal of approval" on this 5th wheel! 🖒👵🖒 I seriously can't find ANYTHING that I don't like and I'am hard to please, I ALWAYS find something that I DON'T like, but, you got me on this one my friend, I give an A+!! 🤗 🤗 Extremely well done Josh! ! And to Mrs. Josh, your husband is so good at what he does! I'll leave it at that so you and she can fill in the last part LOL 😆😅😂 Have someone kiss your boo-boo so it'll heal quick 👄! 😉
@@JoshtheRVNerd You are a winner Uncle Josh! Don't forget about that 2023 Cougar 320rds 5th wheel, you hit the target on that one too! 😍 And oh boy, there's a Jayco travel trailer also that I LOVE and all that I can remember is that it's an 2023 (obviously), and it has RSTS at the end, it might be a 322 or so, I can't remember, maybe you do, but, that one also got my stamp of approval, you hit them all out of the ballpark Uncle Josh and all I can say is a HUGE THANK YOU! ! ! 🖒👵🖒 I knew they were out there, I just didn't know where, but, my Uncle Josh found them!!! Good guy!! 🤗🤗
Maybe I'm the only one but, I don't like carpet less rvs. If you take off your shoes at the door your walking on cold floors at night in bare feet. If you keep your shoes on because there's no carpet then your walking on dirt with bare feet at night. Our rv, a 2019 Rockwood 2606ws came with no carpet so we went out and bought throw rugs. Now we have to roll them up and store them each trip, then put them back down. With carpet we just take off our shoes and no other work needed. Bring back carpet. Greg in Michigan Ps..... carpet is even better then a dinofa.
It looks like they used the Schwiteck on the large bedroom slide. I wish they would have used a beefier system, perhaps the Vroom slide system on such a large, and potentially heavy, slide.
Josh, you keep suggesting a dually. There are a lot of owners running a sa 1 ton. I’d like to know what you really think if I have a 2023 GMC 3500 sa truck. It appears that I’d be close but my truck “Should” be able To handle it. I’d like to know what you think. The tow police would shoot me for even asking, no doubt
Maybe thru the social links listed in my video description but those stickers don't always provide all the info we need. It may be worth a shot @@rvgossontheroadagain8052
Pricing can vary by many multiple thousands of dollars based on shipping distance and equipment package. We keep every model in stock with individual pricing right on our website. I leave a link in the video description to make it easy. No phone call required.
Ok, I get the half bath; it's fine, but if any guests need a shower, they're either going to have to hookup outside or go through the very private space of the bedroom. I keep seeing that on RVs - like the islands which I hate - and it baffles me. The bedroom is (to me, anyway) the most private of spaces (unless you're in a studio apartment or something, you know?). Maybe it's just me, but that would be a deal breaker for me - heck, I wouldn't even want family members going through my bedroom for a shower every day on a camping trip.
