As you guys know, Nomos have released some Limited Edition Tangente's celebrating over 31 years of the Tangente AND over 175 years of watchmaking in Glashutte. They have been kind enough to let me get hands on with ALL 31 models and make videos about them! (Amazing!). So let's talk about the Nomos wearing experience and how to wear the Tangente. Here's how I wear a dressier watch vs. How James wears a Dress watch.

I would totally watch a video that was just a Nomos lovefest with you and JennyElle. I've heard her say she's a Nomos fan too, and she could definitely coach you on pronunciation. 🇩🇪 😊 I like how Nomos takes a classic style and makes it into something playful. I ended up buying the Ziegelblau , love the blues and the brick red, but I was pretty close with the Poporange and the Schlossgrun. I do like a bit of colour, not sure about the pink sweats though 🤭

I love Nomos so much. My first mechanical piece was also a Nomos, the Ahoi Neomatik. These new Tangentes look so yummy. And yes, Nomos watches are crazy versatile. There's hardly a situation, both practical and social, where they would really feel out of place.

Great content. Like most people I've been on a watch journey (over 14 years) and have finally settled on one watch (a Tudor) and one watch youtube channel (yours!). You are really hitting the target. Maybe look at some other brands too, but not Seiko, please.

True Goldilocks dimensions. The design language is wrist watch 101 from the Gokden Age with contemporary color palette. A dressier watch, not a dress watch, but versatile for sure. I own a Grand Seiko SBGW269. Similar diameter and lug to lug, but a good bit thicker, wears fabulous, I’ve got a 7.5” wrist. No problem. Someone stuck in a tool watch rut who believes They’ve got to go 42mm or larger - this is a great style of watch to break that pattern.

I really like the Tangente line, but they are more formal than my usual outfits. A polo and jeans is about as fancy as I get, and that's my work uniform, lol. I tend to stick with sports style watches.

I love the schneesturm colour scheme! Though I did recently buy an orion so not sure if my conscious will allow me to make that purchase. It'll probably look quite goofy on my itty bitty lady wrist and with my usual minimalist styling, but the contrast could give my outfit some much-needed flair, I guess haha.

I think I am sold on the Super Sardine - although Schlossgrün is very me too. So many options - Nomos is being the opposite Aldi! Also, isn't Dresden the coolest city! So much history, art, and amazing architecture. It's one of my favorites in Germany.

RIGHT?! James and I can't stop talking about Super Sardine! I'm just a blue gal tho. I've always had a ton of blue in my wardrobe! It just jives with me. Also... I audibly laughed at the "Nomos is the opposite of Aldi" part hahaha! DRESDEN IS DANG COOL! It's is such a crazy reminder how recent WW2 was, how devastating it was... Like.. Some of these buildings have only finished their reconstruction as of 2005! IDK - Dresden hit me hard! Did you get over to Glashutte when you were there?!?! Any other city recommends for me in Germany?! :) I am turning into a big Germany lover!

@@BrittPearceWatches I went to school in Braunschweig, and highly recommend it as some place to see for its history and Lion statues (for Henry the Lion). I really like the North and East, so Hamburg, Rostock (historic and on the Baltic with beaches nearby), Schwerin (amazing ducal castle on an island), Neubrandenburg (known for its medieval gates), and Wittenberg (of Martin Luther fame). Of course Berlin is a fav, but that's a given.

Most dress watches are like a navy blazer or other sport coat: Can be a part of a sharp outfit, but also worn with jeans and (non-athletic) sneakers if done right. That said, a lot of men don't have a good sense of how to style their outfits so I'm not surprised there would be hesitancy around dress watches. Or more out there colors/dials/designs.

Though everything has its place and thigh I have more "subdued" watches in my collection, I prefer more bold watches in general. Including my digital watches (which are bold in an "against the grain" kind of way), my bold watches are starting to gain some presence in my watch box though

I bought the Blau Gold Tangente last year and yeah, I LOVE the look, but it just didn’t fit my style. I stick with the Club and Orion lines. I do miss the Blau Gold dial though!! 😢

But jokes aside, for too many decades, the watch faces were dark and boring, so I welcome the many bold colored watches coming from all brands. The price for an Alpha movement with the date function is not cheap, but the dials alone are worth it.

britt correct me if i am not wrong but none of the watches that you showed were dress watches .... nomos has 3 dress watches only and they are zurich, ludwig neomatic and metro neomatc 41 all the rest are either casual or semi casual !! i mean you wont wear the normal metro with your formal wear or formal gown right - you will wear these three as they are more formal looking and serves the purpose of showing a no nonsense approach right?

I own a Orion 1989. I love the watch. I think Nomos has the biggest Potential of most brands in my Opinion. But i expect more. Perpetual Calendar a Chronograph something wild. Bel Canto Cristopher ward style wild. I understand there Brand phillosophie. But they deviate from it more and more. just using diffrent colored dials and in the x limited releases for 175 Years Glasshütte. what are they doing. since 2020 they celebrate 175 years of Glasshütte. Enough is enough Lambda steel 175 years Ludwig 175 years Orion 175 Years Tangente 175 years next year Club 175 years but that would be the 180 year. I want real watchmacking new Complications from them and new styles. Color isnt celebrating watchmacking. Its a Marketing exercise by now and not a Watchmacking celebration.

Beautiful hair! Regarding Nomos: For me it is the same as Hublot, just on completely opposite sides of the spectrum - but the result is the same. Ugly and never would spend a cent on it.

Its absolutely amazing that your getting sponsors from watch companies. The only thing you should do is still be honest with the reviews and please don't get bought. Love the new Nomos! My favorite is the Zirkus
