I'm so happy you all have been enjoying these videos. I'm working hard to bring you more nightmares. Expect a new video very very soon. Also I will be trying to update my current videos that lack tracklists as that has been heavily requested and I have been neglectful of adding them. I have some ideas for other videos but if you have any suggestions for a video you would like to see, feel free to leave a comment below this one. Thank you for being here and thank you for enjoying my content
The place at 8:23 seems super comfy. Imagine being all layered up and pitching a tent nearby, and heating up a cup of tea or beef broth. It also reminds me of compass land navigation during nighttime, which I love for how solitary and peaceful it is. Plus, that packed snow is a good sign that it's too cold to piss down rain on you and make big pools of mud everywhere.
@@pIayingwithmahwii For the the record, I would also stay in the woods and out of the field. The field would be too wide open and too windy. But to be fair, in real life it would not have the grainy photo effect. The place also looks more like a tree farm than natural woodlands.
Yeah, for some reason I had a nightmare and my mom dropped me off at an old and abandoned factory. The atmosphere was very dark and the street lights were yellow. Also while she was driving off , the further she got, the more my anxiety drew. All I remember feeling was nothingness and a weird alone feeling of nothingness. Weird dream for me.
I had a nightmare about a school shooting, everyone I knew was hung up and dead with flesh and blood pouring all over the carpets. Next thing I know, the Rouge kid sneaked up on me and whispered "Lights out" and then she killed me and I woke up scared. I think it happened on a school day where we had a lockdown drill. Those safety drills always give me nightmares.
@@TheIronJellyOfficial That song is from a RU-vid channel that takes video game music, then edits it (by combining it with song lyrics, changing the melody to another song, etc.) and posts it as if it's just the normal song to catch the viewer off guard. The song I timestamped has its melody altered at the end, so it turns into the theme from the Flintstones TV show.
Reasons why you feel strange looking at these: 1. Is a lot of late 90s-early 00s era vibes from house decorating schemes, places, colours, technology, etc. giving a feeling of nostalgia and of being a child. Also, considering a lot of these pics are of schools, arcades etc., which are part of important memories, which makes you feel like you have been there before (most of these photos look American but I can relate to a few of these images and the overall vibe even tho I'm British. I was born in 1999 btw). 2. Is the emptiness of places where you would expect people to be, and the darkness. It makes viewers feel lonely and adds eeriness. Also, considering how everything is deserted it makes you feel like something bad happened for it to be that way. 3. Is bright colours, strange and surreal looking places, weird shapes and angles, things where they shouldn't be, and a lack of obvious landmarks, which adds a hazy dreamlike effect. 4. That music doesn't help lol.
9:42 actually DOES remind me of a nightmare I had once when I worked as a manager at a shoe store. For whatever reason, I had to stay at my store overnight, and I was trying to figure out the best place to sleep. At first I tried sleeping in my car, but I decided that I didn't feel safe enough there, even parking in the middle of a huge puddle hoping that would somehow "protect" me. So I decided to go sleep in the store instead. My store was... different. It had an extra up front, and even though it was still MY store, it was actually a grocery store instead. I let myself in and as I tried to figure out what to do next, I happened to be near the extra door and I saw two women outside. One appeared to be in her 50s-60s and had short black hair, whereas the other one was just a typical elderly woman who had to be in her 80s. The sweet old lady somehow asked me through the door if we were still open and if we sold cinnamon rolls. I looked at my watch: it said it was exactly 11:39 PM in my dream. I told her we were closed and I couldn't let them in. The younger one started screaming at me because "YOU CAN'T LET HER IN FOR JUST ONE THING??!" and she picked up a rock to smash over my head (as I had somehow wound up outside despite never touching the door). I pushed her away and screamed back, verbatim, "IT'S 11:39 PM AND YOU'RE PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING ME OVER CINNAMON ROLLS?!? ARE YOU INSANE?!?" and I retreated back inside the store. A few moments later, I heard the sound of shattering glass. I decide to take shelter in the office and hide under the General Manager's desk. I specifically remember lamenting the automatic lights easily giving away my position to these psychos. Last thing I remember is kicking myself for turning the door alarms off and scrambling to call the cops as quietly as possible. Then I woke up. ...All this after I had tried cinnamon flavored coffee creamer for the first time. Never buying THAT again. 💀
I also tried Cinnamon coffee creamer once (nut pods brand), and it had no flavor and just felt like the cinnamon sucked all the moisture out of my body and left me a dried husk holding gross undrinkable coffee
Exactly. I remember playing this ps2 demo called "Echo Night Beyond" and I was scared as hell. After an hour of trying to muster up the courage to open a door to the next room, I encountered a jumpscare. A ghost was floating towards me and as soon as it hit me, loud music started playing and my characters heart rate was skyrocketing. I was so scared, I almost forgot there was a pause button. After pausing, I just sat there and soon noticed my door opened behind me and it was just like that picture.
All of these ppaces are fairly common when you take away people, or at least the ones that resemble reality. When an area is meant to have people, but lacks them, it seems empty, vacant and even dream like.
8:03 This is eerily similar to this store I was in in a nightmare I had. It was the end of the world and everyone was slowly dying off and everyone collectively decided that nothing mattered anymore and we all started raiding stores. I was with a few school friends here but they mainly only had party supplies so I grabbed a few of those beaded necklaces. I had a mini breakdown in the back of the store when I was alone because my whole family had already died at this point of the dream. I never had such an odd feeling waking up from a nightmare before than waking up from this one.
So I have a weird statement that I imagine will never see the light of day based on the age of this video. I'm part native American, Eastern Cherokee to be exact, and I guess specifically my heritage of that specific branch has a tendency towards having lucid dreams that lead to deja Vu at undetermined points. So put more simply, I have dreams that sometimes seem to predict my own future. The reason I bring this up is that I'll see places exactly like these, possibly years in advance and places that I have never seen with my own eyes, then get a feeling that I've been there before. I always get chills. One in particular has always stuck with me. In the dream I was walking through the field at my grandparents farm, then I paused and had a bullet pierce me. Three years after the dream, I went on that exact walk with my grandmother to check out the deer my dad had dispatched on a recent hunt. I felt a chill and paused, then had a .223 round bounce off my boot from our neighbor taking a pot shot at us. I'm a scientist and don't generally jump at "it was fate", but I feel like that one might have been. I still have dreams like this, and I still get chills whenever things line up.
I’m just an English but I’ve had a few dreams like that basically exactly of the future, and like you aswell could be months or years/ weeks for it to come into proof but it would typically be a dull conversation then ends when I notice that I’ve done this before in the dream, and when it happens in real life that’s when I start noticing it aswel if I worded that right. But really bizarre and very interesting I think.
I wonder if most of these pics were intended to be scary. Personally, I think most who take these pics, like myself, just happen to be in the area at the time, maybe cleaning up after work or a party something, and then they’re like ‘hey this would be an interesting pic’. It’s not scary at the time, but when you look back at the pic, it is.
0:20 I used to grow up in an apartment complex that had like a tunnel or a bridge in between the two buildings that connected first building with another so that you could go from one building to another without actually leaving it and at night it literally looked exactly the same as this image so I felt a really strong sense of nostalgia.
Im just chilling...i have do end a proyect in 7h....and i dont sleep in all the night to do it (the proyect). Rn, im just watching videos to take a break....i guess im on the weird and creepy side of RU-vid lol
@@averyrandompersonontheinternet The music's not reversed. That's how it actually sounds. It's "River Twygz Bed" from Super Paper Mario, which is (yes) a creepy Mario game. It's basically the Mario version of Majora's Mask and EASILY the darkest Mario game ever made.
Beaches at night look terrifying, right? I took a picture of a beach from where I live, at night, and it looked like an outer version of the backrooms!
Nice collection ! I love liminal spaces and unusual places in general. As a huge introvert with social anxiety, places that seem to have been completely deserted years ago have an oddly appeasing effect on me. What would scare me if I were there in person wouldn’t be the weirdness or the solitude, but the fear that some creep might be hiding in the shadows and that there wouldn’t be anybody else around to help me. But if I could be assured that there’s truly not a soul in any of these places, there are several that I’d be intrigued to visit just for the thrill of exploring the unknown.
As a cart pusher who used to work very late into the night, I can personally tell all you that the almost empty parking lot was always the most eerie and creepy atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.
As someone who grabbed a late night snack from a store earlier this night: yes. It is, especially knowing what kind of area you're in. The store I went to was in the middle of holy fuck super dangerous to not much happens
8:23 idk why, but i love this part so much .the image and the music, they just fit so well together. it gives out a strong vibe, like, it's not scary, but it kind of is. it feels like you have just survived something. cold, tired, alone. a battle has been fought, and you have won, but it just feels like you were too late for something. too late. no one left. just you and the barren land. no one left to harm you, yet nobody left to comfort you.
I occasionally have this nightmare where I'm wandering around my neighborhood at night and as it progresses the area becomes more and more twisted and I always end up going down an infinite staircase made of concrete and water running down the steps, the railings are replaced with sheets of rusted jagged metal.
That’s called creepy, you ever notice random things that can’t be explained just come off as disturbing which then turns into fear? The worst part is it’s isn’t suppose to be scary which is why it’s worse...
Lmao just imagine you’re walking up to it and then you hear muffled caramelldansen, and a bunch of drunk teenagers are in there... because the apocalypse started but they were too drunk to realize
#2 would make an amazing horror game. You're trapped in a never ending, caged walk way, that goes up and down and underground, maybe with some offshoot areas, but outside you can see all manner of terrifying, unexplainable things and hear them even moreso
you're in one of these dreams you know you're alone. but you just turn around and there's someone just standing there starring at you with a furious look on his face. and you start to get that feeling in your gut and you're fine th t or flights kicked in. and you're just ready to freakin run
0:00 the most dangerous part of this job isn't getting lost, instead the most dangerous part is that it can take quite some time to get out if anything goes wrong. 0:21 you know that the protective fencing was put up to prevent inebriated people from accidentally or intentionally falling of the bridge, still, your mind can't help but to pretend like it was installed to keep something from getting on the bridge. 0:41 the fairgrounds stayed open despite the fog, and... well, it just seemed "off" today 1:02 You couldn't sleep tonight either, you tried going back to sleep with no luck, and unfortunately there aren't any scheduled programs on the TV at this hour. 1:20 The weather station said there would be a lot of rain today, I just didn't expect it to flood the subway though. 1:41 This message is being broadcast by the request of the State Department Of Fire Security. A large forest fire is raging across ___ And ___ County. We advice all residents of said counties to stay indoor and to close all windows and ventilations. 2:01 Normally it wouldn't be strange to see some of the buildings lights on, although it's a different story when only one light is turned on. 2:21 You took a quick pause from cleaning the area when you glanced at that damned tree thing, and you swear you saw that it's eyes where looking at you instead of looking straight ahead, you quit your job there after that. 2:41 strange... I don't recall driving by that area, nor do I recall taking a picture of that area. 3:01 You always get a little bit unnerved whenever you walk by that playground, especially if your mind starts playing tricks on you. 3:26 You stand before the two doorways, wondering how silent you have to be, wondering if your breathing would be to loud. 3:45 It's always sad to see a local restaurant go out of business, especially if they leave behind traces of their existence. 4:05 the house isn't real, it never was real, it was all just a facade, a flat lie. Who would even live there anyways. 4:25 and all of a sudden you realise that maybe the night shift isn't for you. 4:46 And here you thought that urban exploration would be fun. 5:06 watching over the cornfield you got reminded of your imaginary friends you had when you were younger, and you then remembered that they always wanted you to go out into the cornfield when no one was watching. 5:25 sometimes the shortest route home isn't the safest one, sometimes it's better to take the longer routes instead. 5:46 Normally you wouldn't have trouble walking down this wing of the hospital, but today it's getting renovated which means that it will be mostly empty, so you know... it's a bit more unsettling this time. 6:06 nostalgia is unfortunately not always a pleasant feeling, and unfortunately it is the opposite of pleasant at this moment. 6:23 remember how you felt a bit unnerved going through the wing being renovated? Yeah well, it's a lot worse in the parts where the lights don't work. 6:44 and here you where hoping that the suburbs wouldn't be a repetitive hellscape. 7:04 you never quite understood why they didn't move the sunken boat, sure it would cost a lot but it would be much more of a hassle to keep it, it just doesn't add up. 7:23 You had a nightmare like this once, but the most terrifying part of the nightmare was that all the passengers were self aware, all of them begging for you to bring them with you out of that nightmare. 7:43 you know that you aren't alone, you were even expecting to run into a janitor or some security guards assigned to the night shift, but the fact that you haven't seen anyone is really starting to make you wonder weather staying here would be worth it. 8:04 the cashier running the store had to go to the storage room in the back to get something that you ordered earlier, and now you start to realise just how uneasy it feels to be totally alone in a store. 8:23 as you walk through this small trail on the edge of town you get flooded with memories, they are wonderful memories, maybe a bit melancholy sure but still they are the kind of memories you treasure. you feel happy, for in this very moment you are at absolute peace, you smile as you continue on your way to wherever it is that you're going. 8:44 Don't you know that cheating is frowned upon? Don't you know that frauds get kicked out? 9:04 And so the question remains, "which door is the correct door? And which door is a dead end?" 9:23 you'd expect it would be less unsettling to walk through these corridors after a while, unfortunately what you expected isn't always what happens. 9:43 I always hated having to go to the store after dark, it just feels uncomfortable. 10:03 Oh this corridor? Eh it just connects the washing room with the rest of the apartment, Sure it might look creepy but trust me you'll get used to it after a couple of weeks. 10:24 Remember how you realised that the night shift might not be for you? Well that point definitely still stands. 10:43 the worst part about the winter months isn't how cold it gets, no the worst part is how it gets so dark so early. 11:03 I always despised the smell of chlorine, perhaps that is why I never liked pools either. 11:23 The hotel said the view from the balcony was one of the best in the country, but if this is the best then I don't even want to know how the view from the rest of the country looks like. 11:43 Being someone who handles repetitive tasks I didn't mind having to place out all of these chairs, I just don't understand why my boss wanted the lights to be turned of however.
i've actually seen 8:23 in a dream, i was putting out a fire in a snowy forest precisely like that one and it kept relighting despite my efforts. eventually everything burned away and i woke up after seeing everything in ashes
7:12 has that particular phobia, followed by the next. 6:22 has an impending horror lurking around with that maddening feeling 8:23 is quite beautiful, yet some anguish felt within the dark wanderlust.

1:40 I remember this dream it’s about a storm that destroys the neighborhood out of nowhere that and if your the most that comes with it your skin turns red, then it darkens, then it blisters and pops. It was the scariest stuff
0:01 Its not safe down here. 0:20 Get out as quick as you can. 0:40 I missed amusement parks. So sad that every single one is now abandoned. I wonder why. 1:05 Come sit. Everything's going to be ok. 1:20 You're not alone down there. 1:40 Its happening again. 2:00 Walk, don't run. 2:20 The doors are locked and the noises won't stop. 2:40 Just sit back and watch. 3:00 Don't move. 3:25 Follow the directions, silly. 3:44 They told me not to go, but I didn't listen. I just wanted to see the outside world for the first time. 4:04 What's wrong? You look confused. 4:24 You're not alone. 4:45 No ones been in here in years. Why is the power on? 5:08 I know its tempting, but don't go in. 5:25 Mommy? Why is one of the stop signs moving toward us? 5:45 Run. 6:04 Don't make eye contact with it. 6:30 You need to get out of here. 6:50 Don't bother knocking. They won't let you in. 7:05 People have tried to investigate the wreck before. They always come back acting different. 7:23 They never explained why it crashed. 7:43 Isn't this fun? 8:02 You've seen this place before. 8:26 No one else takes this road anymore. 8:42 Don't move a muscle. 9:02 You're not supposed to be back here. 9:23 Don't open any of the doors, no matter what you hear on the other side. 9:42 Get inside, quick. 10:07 Don't look behind you. 10:22 You weren't thinking of taking anything, were you? 10:43 Stay in the light. 11:11 I think there's something in the water. 11:22 Look over the railing, you can see it. 11:42 Find an empty chair. Every other one is taken.
8:43 what's creepy about this is that there is no decorations in the room, just nothing, and there is a door that's probably gonna lead to a jumpscare or something i don't know
@Sean Cob Imagine waking up in a room with nothing but one door filled with darkness in where you can spot something near and having to stare at it for hours. Idk I think that must be only real scary place to be in 8:22 is also a good one
These photos are scary on a weird existential level. Like they make you consider your loneliness and helplessness in an world, uncaring and infinitely larger than you, in a way that scary things generally can't
In my most common nightmare, its just a endless white room leading to other rooms with what seems like humans turned to creatures hunting me down from something I chose (who I'd prefer and be with) and I have to hide and theres no escape from it, it really is more scary than it sounds knowing its hard to explain it because I suck at explaining things.
one nightmare that has constantly reappeared since ive been about 5 is me being in a corn field (or a big outside area) laying down crying out for help while my feet are being nailed down to the floor. usually a family member comes out of the corn. but instead of helping me, they look at me in either disgust or happiness. i usually ask for help but they just go back in the corn fields. leaving me.
i’ve seen several of these. let me know if anyone else has had the same dreams. 0:19 - instead of the bottom of the tunnel being cement, it should be green water. it looks like sewage, but it’s not actually dirty. the tunnel is a shortcut for some kind of secret society. but sometimes you and your friends just like to explore it. never a bad vibe in this dream, it’s always more fun than scary. 2:56 - this place has an oddly wizard of oz meets teletubbies vibe. all i know is a cult exists here. not necessarily a bad one, but this is their outside security before you reach the main area where they live. 8:22 - a warehouse type grocery store, almost like costco, with every item in the world from food, to party supplies, to resources to household items where every person left on the planet gets a limited amount of everything. there’s even rooms towards the back where bags of things are stacked, so high they almost touch the ceiling. this is just a smaller section of the store, getting closer towards the back. there’s less people here. you’re with your two kids, trying to get them to stop running around everywhere.
At 8:26, I feel a lot of connection with this image. When I was really young I lived in the middle of nowhere on a private property, It was very large and I lived in a cabin away from the main house. I would have to walk to the main house to get food or relieve myself, it wouldn't be a problem until winter nights, this image reminds me of when I would have to take a 2 minute walk in the middle of that.
@@ethanhensley9355 we lived on a 75-100 acre property, its been a long time since I've been there. The walk was a 2-7 minute walk from my small cabin to the main house, my cabin had electricity and heat. But it didn't have internet so my entertainment was drawing and movies, and the cabin didn't have a bathroom. Real pain in the ass to get to the main house, and as I said, it was eerie during winter nights. Especially when snowing, but there's also a feeling of strange nostalgia I get from it.
I have very faint memories and.. a nostalgic feeling? I don't know.. I probably saw them in my dreams but if I didn't then I don't know. Just so familiar. But the image you were referring to seems also familiar, because I used to live in a field, countryside in a village near a city. So the field was covered in snow.
There has been a couple of times ive driven past windfarms like 2:40 at night. The experience of seeing the high up, blinking red lights as you drive through an almost deserted highway is... interesting. They mostly blink in synchrony to, like fireflies.
1:01 i had a nightmare similar to that about a year ago. I remember waking up in a chair, similar to the one shown, and being blinded by the blue strobes on the television in front of me. Then I got up, walked outside and found myself in a street with blue/green/yellow streetlights at night, the best I can compare it to is Metro city from SSX3, just without the snow or buildings. There was also no one outside, in fact everyone was in their house but glued to the screen like I was, and no matter how much I tried to get their attention, they just wouldn’t budge. After that I only remember the dream feeling like hours have gone by, then I woke up in a cold sweat. Dreams areinteresting if you ask me.
4:24 this terrified me to such an extent that honestly I can't explain it. It's the combination of the creepy noises and what I see right in front of me.
3:00 Funny story about this one. I remember going to a very small playground that seemed in the middle of nowhere at nighttime, outside the church my family used to attend mass at. The part I remember most was when I use the slide that went down like 6ft, then resting on the grass looking up at the starry sky. At the time I think I was somewhere around 4-6 years old. Whenever I try to talk to my family about it, they say it was probably a dream or I'm remembering the wrong details, mostly because it's still pretty vague in my memory and hard to describe. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever really know.
POV for each image: 1: you've been lost in a sewer for 7 hours and you have no signal on your cell phone to help you find your way out 2: you're on a bridge that never seems to end 3: you're at an amusement park and the enjoyment turns to fear as a UFO crashes nearby 4: you cant sleep and you cant watch tv because theres no signal 5: you're escaping from someplace after a flash flood 6: you're in your living room scared to death because the sun is blood-red 7: it's 3am and you see someone's apartment light still on, but nobody is in the apartment because the last tenant passed away two weeks ago 8: you went to go to the restroom and the restaurant closed while you were in there and now you're locked in 9: you're in an aircraft and see the blinking lights of the wind turbines 10: you're suspicious and wondering why a piece of playground equipment is in the middle of nowhere 11: you just saw a distorted face peek out from behind the right doorway
0:00 | You can't see it but it sees you. 0:20 | For years this place has been unregulated. 0:40 | Don't be decieved - it's deserted. 1:00 | No stations are active. 1:20 | The water level's rising slowly and you can't seem to find a way out. 1:40 | Close the windows, they could be here any second! 2:00 | What are you doing? Stop staring at the light... 2:20 | All the doors are locked and the noise doesn't end. 2:40 | They welcome you. 3:00 | Once it gets in the light, it's too late. 3:20 | She hears your fear. 3:45 | I can't recall the last time this was even open. 4:05 | This reality is falling apart. Go back to yours. 4:25 | You shouldn't be in here. 4:45 | Don't let the intercom brainwash you. 5:05 | You have no choice now but to proceed. 5:25 | ...did that sign just move? 5:45 | That wasn't medicine... 6:05 | I can't tell you what happened here, otherwise it'll happen to you. 6:25 | They're after you. 6:45 | It feels like it goes on forever... 7:05 | Don't worry about it. Just don't. 7:25 | This is where the signals come from. 7:45 | No one in sight while there very well should be. 8:05 | It's coming. Do you hear it? 8:25 | Nobody to hurt you, nobody to comfort you. 8:45 | Don't move an inch. 9:05 | Get out of there now! 9:25 | Come play with us... 9:45 | Hide. 10:05 | If you feel dizzy, stop walking. 10:25 | Didn't you read the news? 10:45 | It's safe here. 11:05 | What water? It's empty... 11:25 | Come a little closer. 11:45 | All seats are occupied.
The SCARY thing about these is that I haven’t seen them in my nightmares.. But I feel like I know 90% of these places like my pockets and I also have weird memories about them. I know what will people say. You’ve been to similar places to these in your childhood and now it looks scary because they are empty. But to like 60% I wasn’t! This is just terrifying.
You might be very mainstream to have this nightmares. A powerful nightmare doesn't look bad, just it's feel like the worst thing ever, even if it looks nice.
8:44 is honestly the scariest for me, on a huge level. Not sure why its just a super eerie and simple picture coupled with the black nothingness in the doorway

5:25 I have a distorted memory of going down that road when I was, like, 3 or 4, going to the circus, and going back home. I remember very little. Edit: it wasn’t a dream.
The very first image actually reminded me of a sorta recurring dream i have. In some dreams I'll be at a location but I'll find a manhole that links to other locations in other dreams I've had, and i have to crawl through the pipes to get to it. Spookiest location was a small junkyard town in the middle of the desert at night which has two serial killers or something stalking me. Another one was a waterway that passes through a factory and had people/creatures jumping down to chase after me until i got to the final pipe. Another one was actually a different layout of the pipes that had me hold my head underwater as i crawled through tight spaces to get through
8:28 damn... that literally is a place from a dream I recently had... Except for the snow... everything was there - The color palette, the forest, the clean cut to the field - That's crazy
