Another interesting 5, i never driven Deutz Fahr of early models but do like tractors, as for JCB just a dream but always wanted one with Cummins engine. Of all JD tractors 7800 is their best especially square nose with nice 8.1lt, fitted starfire gps it nearly turn me green LOL. For work, boss dairy farm has had all NH tractors, our family has couple tough NH TM125 but they were not without their troubles like electrics n cooling issue. But my favourite would be TS i like driving TS80, pocket rocket, easy gearbox n not clumpies like later bigger versions. If anyone didn't like what CNH was offering then McCormick was good offer, early version did have poor plastics but offer Perkins 6, Perkins 4 which our MC 135 with loader spec perform awesome especially Xtraspeed transmission was ahead of rest of other tractors. My uncle decided he would go for lazy Cummins 6 as i recon Perkins 6 rev harder. Kubota offer good M range n were another pocket rocket n same for Zetor which i had chance drive on dairy farm when i start apprenticeship in dairy.
@FlyingFergyMan Ones with the perkins 1106 engine gave oil pump issues and we're not too reliable. The Sisu powered ones had no major issues, that's my experience.
Hi Alan huge fan of your channel and videos I have shared a lot of your videos.maybe you could do a video on fiatagri in the future. Legendary tractor. Thanks Alan keep up the great work.
And their copy zetor ideas too like air brakes water diesel seperater glass in the new holland tractors same glass as zetors tractors use on their zetor diesel systems
Having operated a JD6630 premium, I'd love to see an in depth video going into how the gearbox actually worked and comparing it to their previous box. I'm not sure the name whether it was power quad etc but it had I think 6 ranges and 4 splits per range it was 20 years ago now but i enjoyed that tractor immensely, especially the turbo wastegate sound 👌😁 Is it a 4 speed manually shifted automatic behind a 6 speed manual gearbox? Great videos as always 👌keep it up🙏
That's the power quad gearbox. Or you could get it as an autoquad version. The 4 speeds could shift automatically.. One of the best transmissions JD have ever produced 👌
