Great job on the fluid changing. That's a nice old tractor, they don't make tractors like this anymore, just a shame that they are made overseas.Have a blessed evening and stay Safe and warm. All of your videos Ben are just great.🚜👏👍❤️🙏
The International 464 1973 to 1978 . It was manufactured in Doncaster, England for the European market. For the US, skid units were supplied from Doncaster and final assembly was carried out in Louisville, Kentucky
Yea they are geared in the attic lol. If your ever around a 20c Massey Ferguson they will absolutely fly too my uncle had one of them and I think it would out run my 240 in 7th gear then when you put it in 8th you better turn your hat around or take it off and hold it because you were fixing to loose it lol
Those were some nice tractors. A farmer I worked for back in 78 bought one new and I loved running it. Lots of power for its size. It had great handling and crazy fast road speed.
Easy cheese, Big Red, and some form of crunchy platform for the easy cheese.... AND ONE OF MY BESTEST RU-vidR BUDDIES IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! I hit 400 subs. I deserve a few days off and some easy cheese. Yes. I shall enjoy your hard work this fine evening while I dine like a king. Start the video!
Congratulations on the 400, that’s a big deal! I think I’ve gained like 40 subscribers in a few days and lost 35 of them 😂, up and down. You definitely deserve a few days off! Hope your feeling better now. Thanks for watching!
How's she goin'? Nice to see the maintenance getting done. I was some impressed that you changed all that oil and never got any on the floor!!! You're a special mechanic for sure!!! LOL Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!!
It took a bit to get that figured out. I’ve not always been patient, it’s something I’ve started to improve upon over the past couple years. Thanks so much for watching!
Hey Ben, after a day like today I might move way down south. The biggest snowstorm in recent memory is coming to an end here. Over 2 feet here and now windy and cold. I was over 5 hours digging out which usually takes me an hour or less to do for most storms. My old Massey is tired and so am I. After watching your video I'm going to bed lol. That 464 is a nice size tractor. Take care
Good evening Sir, that was not easy air filter to change 🥴 Great oil engine oil Change 🧐👌👍 Yes that engine did mention to use sae 30 ( I remember from your video ! ) that was the very first safety systems by making sure that the driver were sitting on their tractor seat by pushing the clutch I guess 🙏😇 Great hydraulic filter 💪👍👌 that is a lots of hydraulic oil 😮 a little lubrification on the controls levers is great 👌👍😇 That road is brand new 👍👌😇 You did a great maintenance video Sir 👌👍 All the best mon ami Cheers 🍻
I like the clutch pedal safety switch. I’m learning to lubricate things better from your videos! It definitely helps on shift linkages. I enjoy working on machines, changing oil and such. Appreciate you watching!
I have a 1974 464 High crop. Or made in to a high top. I have a little blow by. And it's a little hard to start. Now l live in SW Florida where it's always hot. Anything you might recommend for me to get this tractor running awesome again?
Hi i have a 784 which i think is similar engine and design only its bigger. Im not experienced at doing service but id like to try. Question, after u change the diesel filter and u said to bleed them, how do u do that, do u just open the nut on top to let out some diesel, do u need to turn over the engine to pump the diesel through or will it just flow. And lastly do u turn off the diesel flow from the tank or something when u remove the filter, how do u stop the diesel from flying out when u remove the filter, thanks if u can help me out.
It should have a valve to shutoff at the tank. As for bleeding them there’s a small screw on top of the filter housing you loosen up. Then turn your fuel back on. I’m thinking on those it runs out until you see pure fuel and no air bubbles. Some engines have a hand primer pump for bleeding but I can’t remember this tractor having that.
@@khtractors thanks your right the 784 doesn't have a hand pump the one u serviced has I think. Theres a small tap on the bottom of the diesel tank at the back of mine I'm sure that must be for turning off the diesel from the tank. Thanks very much for the fast reply. Have a good day.
Hi sorry to bother u again but as I said before I have a 784. With winter coming in I need to put antifreeze in it. Does opening the tap on the radiator release all the water from the radiator and engine block, or is there some separate tap for the engine block thanks very much. I think myself it may be only the one tap hopefully.
It’s only the one drain as far as I know. I’m not real experienced with the Internationals. Draining it will not get everything drained from the engine block but probably enough to be safe one filled back with antifreeze.
This is a diesel. It’s not my tractor so my suggestion on flushing the tanks is just remove the drains on each side and poor fuel through the tank. Thanks for watching
