Y’all are gonna make this man go crazy 😂😂 I have read most of every response and he continually has to repeat saying that he’s not talking about loosing weight he’s talking about body fat. For anyone else who comments; these are the only things HE has been trying to say so I wrote it in a simple way for anyone to understand.. 1. A sauna suit can’t help you lose body FAT. 2. A sauna suit can help you LOOSE WEIGHT. 3. Those that use the sauna suit and lost fat AND weight and felt better you didn’t just lose the FAT( not weight) with just the sauna suit. ( You ate differently maybe, starting walking the dog more or an extra mile, you might have became busier because little Jonny or little peaches kept running you back an forth to their new extra curricular activities like soccer practices and cheerleading, your irritating boss has come back from vacation and now has you walking more than usual to go back and forth getting coffee, printing copies, and etc. and the list goes on. ) ….. now y’all leave this man alone 😂 y’all know what he’s trying to say. Hell he’s probably loosing weight just by commenting to most of y’all.

I lost a hundred pounds of water weight then. Wow I didn’t know I drank so much I wore one for four months and ran three miles a day. But before I wore one I wasn’t losing anything. People’s bodies are different, paying this egghead your hard earned money for some pill he’s selling isn’t going to get you there. I can’t dudes like this.

You can loose fat with a sweat suit because of the heat it provides and heat burns fats while working out but also takes away a lot of water weight trust me I’ve used them all my life and it does help and you also feel better after working out with one

Not how it works but close. You’re sweating pure water out , but when your body work out in the heat, it’s a more vigorous work out which causes your heart beat to elevate and burn more calories. I’ve done research myself and done 3.5 miles run. Trust me with the sauna suit it was a struggle , but my Apple Watch said I burned 700 calories vs 350 calories without.

@honey ma naw he said it burns fat. He was close. The heat makes your workout more vigorous and brings up your heart beats. Elevated heart beat is proven to burn more calories. Heating up your body alone just causes your body to cool down and sweat water weight, not fat. The sweat suit is a good piece of equipment to have to do cardio over all. So basically the sweat suit does not make you sweat fat out but makes you work harder during workouts.

I lost 100lbs walking 2 miles 3x a week in a sauna suit during a whole summer. People forget fat is water also… stop trying to put to much thought into it just do it, you’ll get skinny and drink lots of water

Absolutely, there shouldn't be a need to overcomplicate fat loss! But if fat loss is the goal, a sauna suit isn't *necessary because there are more important contributing factors & variables to sustained fat loss (aka calorie deficit, workout intensity, etc) & CONGRATS on the 100lbs🥳 THATS HUGE, BIG W✊🏼

You're sadly mistaken. Its called thermal therapy and it does lose water weight, but you do burn more calories. It does both.

BS. I know three guys in the gym that I go to, and they workout in the sauna for one hour. These guys are the most diced up in the gym. There’s something to it.

Did you know that fat cells consist of water? And that when that extra water in them leaves, it’s easier to burn actual fat? And that body trying to cool down burns a lot of calories? Plus it’s the extra salt, toxins, hormone disruptors humans are exposed to on the daily that leave the body. And that all this reduces inflammation/stress and helps to burn stored fat? Also that when body is using its intercellular fluid it goes to fat cells reserve as one of its first options? It’s not as easy as you show it to be, it’s not just water

This is why it’s good to go on a run after the sauna cuz then it’s easier to burn fat since those fat cells have lost their water cells .

congrats on your progress! the emphasis of the video is to differentiate between the weight that you lose and the fat that is burned. most of the weight that you lose won't be exclusively fat, but using a sauna suit can help burn extra calories, and you can definitely take advantage of the other benefits that it *may offer. This video is exclusively referring to fat loss

This is fundamentally inaccurate. Obviously water weight is the main component of this type of weight loss. However, thermoregulation occurs in a sweatsuit and significantly increases the number of calories burned while the body attempts to cool itself and regulate a core body temperature. If this is understood, the sweat suits are a great way to increase the caloric consumption of any give workout by a few hundred calories.

Yes the heat will cause you to burn more calories which can contribute to fat loss, but the common mistake is associating the scale weight after using a sauna suit & assuming that all of that weight that was lost is composed of body fat, when it's primarily water. Considering how many people are already dehydrated on a regular basis, intentionally further dehydrating yourself using a sauna suit, isn't advice that I would be comfortable spreading around. Fat loss in particular can be achieved without this product, but at the end of the day, everyone is free to use a sauna suit if they like, but generally i've found that people who rely on a product like this for weight loss, have a much harder time keeping the weight off because they haven't changed anything about their lifestyle. But thank you for your comment, you detailed a couple of things that I couldn't in the video!

Congrats on your progress! I don't know if you caught the intro of the video, but I very clearly said that you can lose weight with a sauna suit...my dispute is differentiating between weight & fat. Majority of the immediate weight that you lose while using a sauna suit will be water weight & the only fat that gets burned comes from the intensity of your workout & being in a calorie deficit.

I lost a little over 24lbs in a week between fasting and high intensity workouts. Not recommended for anyone who doesn’t know what they’re doing but I shedded all that weight, looked better and felt better after going back to eating normally

Anytime you turn the heat up on a workout it is going to be more productive. That’s why i hate working out inside in the summertime, the air conditioning is too cold for me. Working out is meant to be hard not leisurely.

That's because you also increased your training frequency, which burns calories. You would've lost weight as long as you were consistently eating in a calorie deficit, or creating it with your training (which you did). Those results are awesome! But you didn't need the bag to lose weight. Sweating is not what determines how many pounds you lose, it's about creating an energy demand in your body, so you use the stored energy to fuel you. Congrats again on the results!

WOW congratulations!!!! I lose 50 lbs by using sweat gel, sweat belt and sauna suit, it actually works, the more higher the intensity the more sweat, then the more water weight and fat you will burn.

it's not logic...it's what has been proven through scientific evidence. If you're a boxer, you utilize sauna suits for *WEIGHT* loss because of weight class requirements. Your weight requirements aren't dependent on body fat percentage...which is the point of this video: differentiating between fat loss and weight loss. My goal is to preach sustainable fat loss habits & sauna suits are a tool that *MAY help you lose weight, but they're ultimately unnecessary for the rest of the population that aren't boxers. Not stopping anybody from buying/using sauna suits, just educating on the acute nature of their results

Thank you for saying this. I wish many others would understand how weight loss works and not trust adds like shredskins or whatever to help with weight loss. Also they can overwork your sweat glands and cause infections and swelling which can get gross. This is why you arnt allowed to use the for school sports like wrestling or football. It can be dangerous because young people dont understand what is happening and get hurt in the process.

Well I'm glad you got the results you were looking for! We build our abs the same way we build every other muscle, through training & recovering, but they are revealed through a decrease in body fat. Using a sauna suit definitely helped achieve that lower body weight, but I would say its not the only factor that got you to the end goal. Thanks for sharing✊🏼

I've lost some weight might be from sweatin gallons at work which had been 6 days on and 1 day off this summer. but honestly I think it's more from cutting soda and eating more protein than carbs and eating a bigger lunch and smaller dinner. For some reason cutting coffee seems to help too even though I drink it black no sugar or cream? Who knows lol

I did the trash bag method one summer and lost over 30 pounds. that’s fat, not (water) weight. i was lighter and leaner. clothes fit better. i went down a shirt size and waist size. sweating cools your body yea but it also burns calories. you do a sauna suit consistently while working out, you’ll shed pounds of fat.

Absolutely. The higher intensity will help you burn more calories while you work out. The video is about differentiating between between losing weight (via sweating more) & burning fat (through a caloric deficit). If you want to burn a couple more calories when you workout, you'll negligibly speed up the process by wearing a sauna suit.

When did I say that it doesn't work? A sauna suit can boost workout intensity, which *can contribute to fat loss. The video is addressing the fact that weight loss & fat loss are not mutually exclusive. You will lose *weight from sweating, but fat loss will only occur through a calorie deficit or by training at intensity levels that dictate fat as the primary energy source. But if your goal is to sweat more, by all means, use a sauna suit...just don't expect drastic improvements in *fat loss, if you're not already taking care of the previously mentioned variables.

I think what people in the comment section don’t realize is that usually when you’re making little steps to be healthier, you are naturally gonna lose fat too. Saying you lost 10lbs of fat & the only change you made was putting this on is impossible. But if you bought this, ate a lil healthier, and worked out a few times a week then ofc you’re gonna lose weight

@@bodycompprescription probably people looking for a quick fix. It dehydrates you so it should be used carefully and only for cutting weight. My first time cutting weight I used trash bags and heavy clothes. I lost more water than needed just from that one run and a bit of water manipulation a few days before the tournament.

Used em for boxing. They do help burn fat over periods of time. Using them 3 times a week is ideal for this an only using them for a half an hour to an hour. Ive never used them for a full hour though because it wore me out i couldnt go and do other exercises later in the day effectively

They will 100% help with intensity which aids in fat loss! I'm just trying to get rid of the idea that MORE Sweat ≠ MORE Fat Burned. You can easily lose weight using a sauna suit, but the weight you lose will NOT exclusively be fat mass, it's most likely water weight

@bodycompprescription definitely spot on, man. Alot of water weight. It's perfect for those last-minute adjustments trying to make weight with sports. People need to understand how bad it tires you out. It's not sustainable, which will never be ideal for fat loss. Low impact workouts you can do everyday, like swimming and long distance walking, will always be the winner in that category as long as your not on a small time frame. I preach about jump rope and walking for people who want to lose fat.

Temporarily, perhaps. Sweating out water weight will not give you sustainable fat loss results if you aren't already taking care of your nutrition & losing fat through a caloric deficit

Raises your heart rate in a sauna and more calories burned to put you in a deficit. So yes you do lose weight in a sauna if you keep your heart rate up by doing jump-ups, push-ups, ect.

I used to box when I was younger and with the dieting and insane training 4+ hours a day I was able to lose 8 pounds a week for the first 2 weeks with out a sauna suit. But after it'd cut down to 4 a week but cutting weight so fast would make alot of us feel like shit sometimes

I feel you might be right with some people nut I'm my case I was traying to get rid of that stubborn belly fat even with a strict diet so I got be a fat burn cream with a waist trainer and In 1 month I saw more results then what I saw in 3 with without the product and the waist trainer.

A lot of people are curious about sauna suits, so I made the video. At the end of the day, you should be responsible for doing your own research, so you can use a sauna suit if you like

Never said it wouldn't help you. Weight loss & fat loss are different though. You can lose weight without losing fat. If you lost fat, it's because of a calorie deficit created through diet and/or exercise. Sweating and burning fat are two separate processes that aren't correlated in physiology

I’m 315. I worked in a 120 degree house for a week. Doctors office weighed 315, 2 days later I was 282. Drank 1 gallons the next three days 24 pounds of water and now I’m back to 304 and have stayed there now i finished that job. Soo. Pounds can be bs

Boss, the exact same thing happens to me, I found if I cut out added sugars & exercise consistently it goes down, my weight still jumps up & down all throughout my transformation like you stated, but each few days it gets lower & lower, would be 289 then next days 280, be like then as I worked out instead of staying there it would gradually go down digit by digit but still be jumping a boat load of water weight. It works out boss you got this 💪

The short answer: probably. Sauna suits will help boost intensity (which can contribute to fat loss) & reducing your overall calorie intake over a long period of time (via lower carb) will help reduce body fat %

What about this video was incorrect? Never said you couldn't lose "weight," but weight and fat are different. You don't burn more fat through sweating. You burn fat through a calorie deficit or you can use fat as energy based upon the intensity level of your workout. And if you truly believe that I don't know what I'm talking about, I trust that you ALSO have a degree in this field & have read up on the topic. If you found some new studies that combat the info of this video, I'd be happy to take a look. Cheers brother

yes, but you'd be better off using up the stored energy (fat) and adopting a calorie deficit to initiate fat loss...as opposed to increase how much you sweat, breathe and pee (because those are normal processes anyways & you probably won't have much success with long term fat loss if you just acutely increase the frequency or amount that you do those normal bodily functions) Manipulating your calorie intake is still the most effective method at sustainable fat loss

Congrats! And I would also guess that you’re eating in a calorie deficit & maintained a long-term training routine, as well. This video isn’t to say that results are impossible, it’s to reinforce that using a sauna suit is only ONE VARIABLE that *may contribute to overall results.

Sauna suits will help you sweat more. Sweating more doesn't mean you are burning more fat. Water weight & fat mass are not the same thing. Just because you lose X pounds from sweating, doesn't mean you lost X pounds of body fat.

This isn't up for debate😂Burning fat is a completely separate process from sweating. Sweat is produced to regulate body temperature. Fat is used to regulate hormones & protect your organs. If the goal is to decrease body fat, you need to create an energy demand in the body (via eating less calories than your body needs, so it utilizes the pre-existing fat stores as energy) or by training at a specific intensity that forces fat to be used as the primary form of energy while exercising. You sweat all day long, but that doesn't mean we are burning fat all day. That "70%" is merely an estimate because it varies from person to person (bones, organs, muscle mass, fat mass, etc). And let me ask you this: if you still believe that sweating yields fat loss, what happens when you rehydrate? Do you gain the fat back? No, because you never removed fat in the first place UNLESS you were also in a calorie deficit OR you were exercising with an intensity that dictates fat as the primary energy source. Sweat is composed of water & various salts. So if you sweat MORE, you're just removing more water & salt from the body, not adipose tissue. If you would like to use a sauna suit or any product that boosts sweat production, you're more than welcome to do so. But the point of the video, is that you shouldn't rely on products like these because a calorie deficit is required anyways. But I appreciate the commentary & hope this cleared some things up for you👍🏼

the only thing that you changed in 2 months was using a sauna? You didn't change your diet, train harder, do more cardio, etc? There are a number of factors that contribute to weight loss & appearance. The results are incredible either way, so congrats! I just find it difficult to believe that anyone would be able to lose 40lbs in 2 months from solely using a sauna

I wear these and it motivates me. It also helps with my confidence because it hides my trouble areas. I’ve gained 10 lbs. recently and don’t want to be seen looking like a stuffed sausage in my fitness clothes. And yes, this top (Black-owned, by the way) gets stares but I don’t mind that.

I see a lot of in shape ppl tell overweight ppl they’re lost weight wrong. There are to types of body of body fat. If you have the loose giggly fat it’s more water. Sauna suit 2.5-3 miles walk a day. Find a good weightlifting program a day. It will melt off

Literally said that it helps you lose water weight...fat burning is a product of intensity or a calorie deficit. If you train at the necessary intensity to use fat as energy, then you will burn fat. No one denied that fact. If your brother is a boxer, then he's REQUIRED to use sauna suits because he needs to make weight. The point of the video is that you NEED TO differentiate fat loss & weight loss, because they aren't mutually exclusive. Using it for competition is one thing, but using it casually is unnecessary for fat loss.

Stop the cap. Would not trust this guy. You skipped all the other benefits. What about effects on metabolic rates...both active and resting. What about the cardiovascular assistance in Vo2 max trials? You feeling bad ,is on you; not taking in proper nutrients/supplementaion and following proper resting protocols. I was 275 lb, I lost 20 lb in one month also you should know that when you're sweating you're sweating out sodium salt toxins too so I don't know what you're talking about you are losing weight you're burning fat but they come out in the water that you're sitting out if you measure or if you study the water that's coming out of your pores while you're doing the longer exercise in liquid form

It sounds like you still haven't differentiated between Fat (lbs) and Weight (lbs)...not all of the weight you lose is going to be fat, it's primarily water weight (as you alluded to), which will come back when you rehydrate all the tissues in your body. The only "fat burning" advantage that a sauna suit provides is *potentially increasing workout intensity, which will allow you to burn a few more calories. Losing 20lbs is very impressive, but I'm sure you were also monitoring your caloric intake & increased your overall total caloric expenditure by improving your activity levels. There is no longitudinal evidence that supports the relationship between sweat production & improved body composition. Decreasing your body fat comes down to the calories that you consume vs the calories you burn...this determines whether you lose weight, gain weight, or maintain. If you burn more than you consume, you WILL LOSE FAT. No one is stopping you from using sauna suits, but there are more sustainable + less gimmicky ways to improve body composition (not to mention that sauna suits aren't even necessary to burn body fat). And feel free to share any literature that supports your claims, I'd love to gain some new perspective on the topic if there's new/conflicting evidence

Bro whatever ur saying is the complete opposite for me...and yes the sauna suit works....obviously when working out you will sweat and feel dehydrated and all you have to do is drink lots of water and the sauna suit multiplies the benefits...helps you do less workout as of before and get the same benefits....speaking from experience

Losing weight comes down to a calorie deficit. Your body requires a certain amount of calories in order to maintain weight. All you need to do is eat less calories than your maintenance, and over time you will lose weight because your body is being forced to use the existing energy stores (fat) in your body. You can speed up fat loss by exercising & burning extra calories. You can speed up fat loss EVEN MORE by exercising at an intensity that utilizes fat as it's primary form of energy, which usually is determined by your heart rate.

100% wrong about what? I never said that they don't work, I just don't encourage using sauna suits. Congrats on your progress, but you also have to understand that fat loss doesn't come down to sweating & there's a difference between fat loss & weight loss. I would also guess that you probably adjusted multiple other factors about your daily routine, that helped contribute to your overall weight loss (i.e. exercising more, eating less calories, training harder, etc). If you like using sauna suits, you're more than welcome to use them. I just wouldn't attribute all of your results because of wearing a plastic bag...because you could just as easily layer more clothes (for free), if your goal is to sweat more. Again, congrats on the progress👍🏼
