They probably prevented him somewhat from making more money off his name with opportunities, or Dana had other plans for him, in fact, I have some thoughts that he will go to the UFC and Dana White will blast the shit out of WWE to help promote him

What blows my mind is that Andrew Zarian was practically creaming his pants over how charming, charismatic, and just how much of a magnetic personality Gable SUPPOSEDLY had, and I am watching interviews with him and I just don't see it. New reports have come out that say Gulak was a bully and A-hole backstage and that he intentionally tried to spike a guy on his head during a match. I’ve seen the match in question and yeah, it looks bad. He’s more trouble than he’s worth it seems.

From what I could piece together, Gulak was not well liked backstage but he had tenure, he was useful and he was a good technical wrestler so they kept him around. He brought bad press, whether true or not, to WWE, making him more trouble then he was worth.

But he had 1 terrible match and was released a few months later. They might have also taken the title off Kofi just so Brock could have that match with him. Not sure who they spent more money on. But yeah they spent more time training Gable.

Wesley doesn’t need to redeem himself. He’s ton a ton of movies since then. The problem was Snipes wasn’t just an actor on those movies he was involved in production. David tried to make Blade a side character in his own movie and tried to use Trinity for a spin off for the Night Stalkers. He had more scenes of Blade added to the movie and took exception to trying to add too many jokes in the movie.

Trey Bearhill was supposed to be in the Breakout Tournament, but got beat up by Lexis King who replaced him afterward. He still competed on NXT until this past March. Still a shame, since Trey and Eddie Thorpe would work out as the next Tatanka. As for Gable Steveson? Yeah... Not even that flip he did on that dark match against Cameron Grimes was enough to save his bland butt.

It's crazy that the WWE signed an Olympic gold medalist again and they brought in a RU-vid celeb in Logan Paul and Logan Paul turned out to be the more natural all round pro wrestler. Sometimes guys just have it or they don't in the buisness and this guy he just didn't pick it up like they thought he would and they've given him time because they did make a fuss about bringing him in and trying to highlight him at first but they probably figured out that he just wasn't gonna get it.

I dont know if he's the biggest flop. He's probably in the top 10. I know Nathan Jones is up there. Ken Kennedy/Anderson as well as far as guys who were given a rocket ship push but than never became more than what they could have been. Lord Tensai for being one of a very short list of people who beat Cena whether it be clean or not during the SuperCena face of the company period only for him to be in Tons of Funk like a year later. So the plan was always for him to consider WWE a side project while he focused on other things? Because honestly I got tired real fast of the only news about him being what he was doing everywhere but WWE. Hell, he made Lacey Evans look laser-focused on her wrestling career. I mean maybe he wasn't improving, but I tend to think it was more because WWE was never enough of a priority for him. Which begs the question of why they ever signed him in the first place. I didn't know who he was before he signed, and now... I just don't care. Because Paige VanZant was never serious about wrestling? That seems to describe Gable's feelings about WWE perfectly to me. Paige Van Zant? Jason was right, she had no passion for wrestling to give a damn and wasted on. I think the better comparison would have been, who is wasted money more on by WWE: Gable Steveson or Lars Sullivan (Dylan Miley) - they put so much time and even had Brock's seal of approval only to disappear into society and forgotten in history. WWE biggest mistakes was making Gable Steveson the next Kurt Angle. Nobody is going take him seriously with that Olympic hero gimmick. He is nothing like Kurt Angle. Steveson has no charisma. He looked so generic that he looked like he came out at a CAW.

I'm not usually this harsh or opinionated on wrestlers I don't enjoy, but holy hell this man was a better cure for insomnia than a cup of coffee spiked with Xanax. Dude's a black hole for charisma. That match with Baron Corbin was one of the worst I've seen in the last decade.

Gable steveson was an absolute flop in WWE i completely forgot that he was still under contract in WWE he was a massive flop why would people make comparisons to kurt angle that's laughable why was he drafted 3-years ago i forgot that drew gulak was still in WWE i like the fact that he wasn't released his contract ran out and wasn't renewed when was the last time that happened in WWE or is this the first time?

Yeah that HHH comment didn't age well, Gulak reportably was being abusive backstage and they decided not to fire him but just let his contract expire...sounds like they wanted to quietly get rid of him and then the reports got out and HHH took it out on the reporters.
