Check out this awesome snake!!! The superior Morelia In my opinion! These snakes come from the absolute middle of no where. Some how some way find the way to survive and looking spectacular doing it! Hope you enjoy checking out this absolute stunner of a snake! Morelia Bredli!

I'd like to see a nature film featuring this species. I can't fathom how they're able to survive central Australia

I came super close to getting a bredli for a first snake - like about to put a deposit down - but then an opportunity came up and changed direction. Still haven't got round to getting a snake, so perhaps bredli still will be my first - they're very cool!

@@hailthescalesskylarwilliam2364 colours are nice, though far from my favourite snake, but temperament, reasonable size, and how hardy and simple to care for make them seem like a very good choice.

For me the superior or king of Morelia is the Morelia amethistina by far. I had a 9 years old Bredli 15 years ago. He was really nice and easy to keep like most of the Morelia's I had 😅. My favorite ones are the diamond pythons or Morelia Spilota Spilota wich some find harder to keep. For a first snake I would still get a BCI or a BP since they are larger, slower and won't move much when handling.

I think dwarf boas like Boa Sigma or the island boas are becoming more popular for similar reasons - hardy, interactive, beautiful but not 8-10ft and heavy like BCCs can be.

I love Morelia spilota variegata and morelia spilota cheynei

I have boas and to me Carpets are like... "Old World" boas. Not quite as varied and wide ranging but different localities and specifics for each person to enjoy keeping. I would love to get one but I already have BPs and boas taking up room lol. Super cool regardless and definitely chill snakes that are a bit more interactive than BPs can be (depending on the BP of course, I have one that is hilarious and outgoing and one that is super skiddish)

Nicest true carpet I have ever seen. But as a Sydney born I am biased to morelia spilota spilota (diamond python)
