I prefer this new design to the outgoing model, it suits the development of the vehicle. The old one was like a prewar aircraft made from wood and aluminium with an exposed air-cooled rotary engine. Whereas this is an aluminium monocoque with a covered inline water-cooled engine. It's like the difference between a Gloster gladiator and a spitfire. Here's hoping the EV version will look slightly more jet aged like the Gloster meteor.
Beach footage is at Cefn Sidan sands in Carmarthen Bay South Wales with the Gower Peninsula and Worms Head island in the background, for those who may be interested.
This is a really cool and avant-garde looking three wheeler. One BIG issue for me would be these two „specially developed and produced“ front tyres (Avon). Who on earth can guarantee that these would still be in production(only for this single car) a few years down the road. The numbers of these cars are going to be really small, so if one day Avon - or a new CEO - decides to no longer produce these due to „cost-income-ratio“… well what do you do then when your tyres need to be replaced?? This Super3 is most likely the ONLY vehicle in the word which uses these kind of tyres. 🤷🏻⁉️
Knowing Morgan they probably have an arrangement to buy the tyre moulds from Avon. Shit, they grow their own trees for the timber body frames of their other models.
Nice. Clicks so many buttons, from Cyberpunk to Belly Racers to Rat Patrol to Luke's Landspeeder. Not thrilled with the rear-luggage exoskeleton; something as usable but a little more classic looking might've been nice. Love the bit where the rear wheel comes around on the gravel road. Hope it is as fun as it looks.
Why can't I buy a new Morgan in Canada? This is the home of the Can-Am vehicles. Seriously, cough up to pass the tests, I think there are enough of us here to more than recoup your costs. Need a petition? A deposit? I'm in!
There’s nowhere that I can find what the ground clearance of the Super 3 is. This would be rather important considering these videos about driving on gravel and unsaved roads…
@@faraz2498 Isnt it too modern for that? Ive been thinking about it all day. I was on Canon A-1 or Olympus OM-1 or Nikon F2 then thought the current Hasselblad Xd1 was about right. Lytro Illum? Im not sure 50's to 70's cameras fit...
Morgan say they at time of filming had not finalized the exhaust tuning. So they will wait until they have production ready car before they touch on that topic. In short that is what they claim.
@@K04sesSion wtf 😂😂😂 This is over stylised publicity, its the same as all the bikers who think they can buy a brand new cafe racer, or those that buy a 'custom' Harley off the showroom floor, they're just buying a perceived lifestyle.
