This looks like a great trailer. I've had such bad experiences buying gravel and sand that I'm now in the market for a trailer and dump truck. A guy brought me a load of gravel on his 750 Ford and after collecting payment and dumping, I was able to move what he brought out of my way in 2 or 3 wheelbarrow loads. Can you imagine bringing about a yard to someone and keeping a straight face while they write you a check. If I'd had my loader handy I'd have put it back on his truck and charged him for it. I guess if you don't want to deal with crooks then you have to do it yourself.
Looks like a nice dump trailer, but you added a comment of dump angle as "about 85 degrees". I assume you meant 45 degrees, correct? No trailer even approaches 85 degrees. Did you actually do a measurement? It's VERY decptive to the human eye/brain. If I found a trailer that went 60 degrees, that would likely make my decision (I'm in the market right now). Thanks.
I mean i was shooting from the hip but if you want to get technical its at least 60 degrees it goes way higher than my other dump trailer which prob goes a true 45 degrees and dirt doesn’t always like to come out of it. Nothing is staying in this one and i love it! Its lower to the ground great for loading equipment. Whatever you buy make sure it has a I beam frame! The only thing that i wish this had would be rear jacks for loading equipment but it does well!
From Western New York I run a 2019 7X14 SureTrac 14k GVW with telescopic hoist. $9700 without tax, registration and other fees. That trailer will dump 10Ton. I upgraded to 14ply tires because you can haul and dump more than it's rated and the factory tires are the weakest point if the trailer
@@WorldsOkayestFarmer the telescopic hoist is the way to go it gives so much more leverage to dump I won't buy another trailer without it. I've never had an issue with stability or anything like that either.
I am in Wisconsin there was only 1 moritz dealer in the state 2 hours away. It was 9k not including tags and tax. I bought it 2 months ago I love it so far. The dump angle is very steep for a sissor lift. The pump and cylinder must be oversized for the trailer as I have had it stuffed full of rock concrete and dirt and never flinched! Love the low sides and torsion axel! The rear gate is thought out nicely with no chains to worry about latching just swing the door open and it automatically locks open. And the single pull pin for opening. Those 2 features are great when you are at the dump and need to quickly dump and go!
