The 3 Minerals and 1 protein are; copper, magnesium, iron, (via HTMA), and then ceruloplasmin (via blood lab). He is also against taking Iron, which is addressed in the book "Cure your Fatigue" If someone is anemic then most likely there are issues with copper being biounavailable (stored in tissues and not in the cells).

Thx. Morley's work is v interesting. When I was in med school I studied iron on the side, and found the research actually v contradictory. I ended up also living and working near Mt Everest for years, with the sherpas/. tibetans. One project was a tibetan medicine clinic and herb plantations. They have incredible knowledge of 'blue' and the link to consciousness etc, really incredible, not just religious info, but actually based on the experiences of the yogis and mystics. There is a reason why the 'medicine buddha' is blue (opaque saphire) and they do meditations on that for health of themself or others. A basic meditation practice too is on a blue flower, as blue is seen to be most comfortable or natural to the subtle mind. There are advanced practitioners who see the 'blue pearl' with eyes closed or open, which is basically a deeper level of consciousness, which of course if you tap into that, leads to healing, so called miracles. When you die, apparently if you are in the bardos and start seeing a blue light, then you are incarnating back to human realm, which is blue type of consciousness. I would love to see a conversation between Morley and Bob Thurman (who is Uma's dad and the Dalai lama's bestie, as Bob talks about blue from the mystical angle, as well as tibetan medicine knowledge, as he studied it and learned from the great tibetan doctor Yeshe Dondon). At the ultimate level, there are no particles, it all breaks down under analysis to frequency, color. I have also had contact with Dean Radin on his consciousness research, and psychic genes, and CRYPTOCHROME :) Another angle too is the hemochromatosis genetics that is the most common genetic issue in white people, most common in Ireland. Many people with only partial HC genetics are going into iron overload these days thanks to iron fortification. So these would be most benefited from Morley's work. Some think this is the Tuatha de Danann genetics (the 'shining ones') who had problems with iron, were stopped by iron. There is all the iron mythology, iron makes you an antenna. magnet... Finally I met himalayan yogis who just lived off minerals eg shilajit, or the sherpas monks who were robust and shining, let lived on no fresh fruit or veg, or meat. And at low oxygen. My dietitian friends freaked out at what I ate up there. Sadly now iron is being added to the rice in south asia so I watch their health decline and shine lessen.... I hope that Morley might give a particular focus to the health issues of mystics/ sensitives, who I suspect might paritcularly benefit from copper and less iron etc. Tibetans have a lot of info about the particular needs of sensitives, which is info that western society has lost (although the west likes to think we are leading the way) :)

Looking into the past: the 80+ year olds dying now are the last Americans that have lived part of their lifes on a normal iron diet. Lifespans are already dropping. We have no idea how long life span will be on double the iron we have today. Iron is essential to life, but it could at the same time be what ends it - evolution never tried to get around the problem of iron accumulation, because evolution needs lots of new generations.

I'm one of those people who likes the background to how things came to be and enjoyed hearing the backstories. I've been struggling with "anemia" or the result of a lack of copper for years. The precursor symptoms seemed to be atrial fib but I don't know if my iron levels were tested at that time as I've had heavy menstrual periods for years prior to that. Many cu-riosities about that are: The atrial fib and surrounding symptoms seemed to have started during a phase of being Paleo and after I stopped exercising in that phase. (I had lost 13 lbs in a couple weeks but prior to Paleo was holding onto a lot of water which I could feel on top of the muscle I had built from cycling daily). Years later I did have a .4 reading of ferritin - can't remember my hemoglobin - after testing when my brain fog became debilitating. I did have an iron infusion at that point. After that there were good and bad: I had a "normal" flow the next month instead of heavy, my brain felt better but then I started noticing I had histamine sensitivity that became a new trigger for the atrial fib (along with too much salt, dehydration and random things that I couldn't control). Coconut water helps the sodium trigger. Now, in light of this copper/ceruloplasma information I'm still curious about women with menorrhagia and iron and copper as well as atrial fib (a symptom of low iron amongst other connections). I'm sure it's been spoken about in the context of one or both, so I will search it out. I've stopped taking the iron and added bee pollen to my daily diet for now (just in the past week). I've also recently added lugols iodine minimally into my diet after having some successful results just using tincture of iodine on my skin daily for a month. Also eating 2 Brazil nuts per day for the selenium. I haven't heard talk from you about iodine specifically. I'll be reading the book soon. Thank you for the research! PS Theres a distracting sound in the audio, like someone typing? Or a mouse running across the keyboard 😉. Hoping that wherever it's coming from, it can be mitigated for future recording.

Myers Detox June 22 · Copper is tricky. Small amounts of it are essential for your health, but too much can be toxic. In recent years, during a dry summer, several Oregon cities added copper sulfate to their reservoirs to reduce algae growth. Accident and disease rates increased. That happened because copper imbalance has severe impacts on people’s mental and physical health. Unfortunately, it’s a health problem that very few know anything about.

"The greatest stress to humans is iron stress. If copper is not bioavailable then iron cannot be functional. And if iron is not functional, it is dysfunctional and if iron is dysfunctional it causes enzymes to release magnesium - kinase enzymes (part of the stress response).

Not sure why Morley isn't concentrating on iron, since in his opinion it's the core of disregulation. Clearly the lack of clearance and toxicity is completely unique to iron only. All the other minerals are in foods in reasonable quantities. Muddies the message.

Unfortunately it’s not… due to the industrial revolution we have acid rain now and this liberates iron (as well as aluminum) from the soil and into well and spring water. I have been looking into water systems the two brands I have been looking at that do what we need them to do are “pristine hydro” (they have an under the counter unit & a travel unit that could be used on your counter, that one is a bit more affordable) then the second brand I am looking at is “flow motion water” and they have a whole house system I believe it installs at the well house(but I haven’t priced into it yet) but I would love to be able to do something like that. However if it is out of my price range I’m just going to go with the travel unit from pristine hydro to at least cover my drinking water. They also have a shower filter as our skin is the largest organ of the body so we absorb iron that way as well. And of course thru the iron fortification program the govt began in the 30s I believe it was… which is iron filings in things like cereal and so many other “foods.” 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m having trouble understanding a few things about iron overload and Cu. I hope someone can clarify it on here please. So.. 1- If we’re actually Cu deficient because we have unbound copper than where is the unbound copper stored at?? Is it just floating around in the blood, stored in tissues, inside, outside of the cell? wouldn’t unbound Cu create the toxicity ppl talk about since it’s unbound? 2- it’s said that Coffee helps to reduce the absorption of iron and vitamin C helps absorb it. It’s also said that infections can feed on iron so consuming coffee could help fight infections right? That would seem true but apply that to someone that has Candida and it will get pretty bad. And that’s what’s contradicting to me. When someone is suffering from a Candida infection, if vitamin C is given, they get better but if coffee is given they get worse. How come the same thing that reduces iron absorption is the same thing that makes infection worse and the inverse for vitamin c which absorbs more iron fights the infection? What am I missing here ? because this really doesn’t make sense when you apply it on a macro with food plus infection happening!

I am slowly reading Morley's book to understand this. I've been blown away!
@thiagop3519
@thiagop3519 Год назад
1 - yes. Unbound copper causes oxidative stress similar to unbound iron. Both can be very dangerous in excess / dysfunctional state 2 - Vitamin C only helps to absorb more iron from vegetables, that is nonheme-iron. Absorption of Iron from meat doesn't change with vitamin C. Some pathogens, especially bacteria, uses iron to reproduce... But there's many, many other variables. Chronic coffee consuption can deplete magnesium, which will worse candida. Coffee also can be a "too high stressor" for some people, which will rise cortisol and lower immunity. Many coffes are also full of mold, aflatoxin and so on, which will make candida and other fungic infections worses...
@thiagop3519
@thiagop3519 Год назад

@thiagop3519
@thiagop3519 Год назад
